  1. This seems to be an April Fool's Joke...they beat the EPA estimated mileage.
  2. I thought that the adaptive suspension was going to be Lincoln standard equipment.
  3. I don't disagree with this statement in the mid to long term time frames. It's the smart business thing to do. However, for the short term, the Lincoln brand needs some exclusivity from the ford products that are coming off the same line. Unique Lincoln features for a while can help to build some of that much coveted cachet, which long term can help boost profits for the FMC overall.
  4. "All of our testers agree the 2.3L is the engine the Fusion deserves. If Fordlincolnmotors ever does this, we see no reason to step up to the higher priced Fusion trim MKZ." I predict we see this quote in Motortrend/C&D whenever the 2.3L hits the MKZ.

  6. Not in this market, but it could look a lot worse.
  7. Looks like the camo has a seam in it where a standard liftgate would be.
  8. It this is the case, based on the camo, it's not getting the clam-shell type door.
  9. Drove a 1.6SE rental 2 months back. Was averaging 38+ on the drive from Atlanta to Chattanooga. Once in town(and the wife out of the car) I started punching the gas quite a bit. Mileage dropped like a rock, but I knew that was going to happen with the boost. For being such a small engine, the car had more than adequate power IMO. Would probably get the 1.6 over the 2.0 if I had to buy one.
  10. From the Page: Their final film, “Tallest Heights,” consists of 7,000 frames stitched together perfectly in time with music. “We had to keep reworking things and keep pushing things into a new direction,” says Pelling. “We didn’t want it to feel like we were repeating something. Becky & Joe are one of four filmmakers selected to interpret the theme of “Hello, Again.

  12. My local lincoln dealer still has 6 2012 MKZs on their lots...I'm surprised the prices aren't lower.
  13. The illumination pattern, and how bright it is compared to other vehicles.
  14. Any chance somebody would snap some in the dark pictures showing how well the headlights work?
  15. If you're not getting the warning indication it probably means your suspension is getting into the proper ride height sensor range before the timeout period is over. That would still likely indicate a leak in one of more of the air struts.
  16. Could be an air bag leak. Probably is an air leak. Do you hear the motor run that pressurizes the bags? Do you get a warning on the dash about checking the air suspension? If those are original bags they're probably shot. We recently replaced the air ride suspension in the back of my wife's CV with coil springs as it was much cheaper. Change the background color on the page: http://www.crownvic.net/drock96marquis/RAS.htm I know that it's a CV, but it can't be too different I wouldn't think
  17. For those of you that have your MKZ, are the side mirrors auto dimming?
  18. Are you going to ask the dealer to take their crap off your car?
  19. This. Power tilt/telecsope should be standard. Heated and cooled front seats should be standard. Power trunk-lid should be standard.
