  1. No - already spent $36,000 on a Ford not going to do the whole loose for nothing thing.
  2. Hi, Has anyone had any luck using the Ford KM Tool you can readily find online from any number of online retailers with their 2013? Thanks, Kevin
  3. Me too - the left wheel started squeaking yesterday. Only makes me wonder what this is going to be like in year 10.
  4. Yep me too - but no letter yet and without a TSB no point in haggling my dealer.
  5. No update for me yet... From syncmyride.com: Your SYNC is up-to-date! Now, you’re running the fastest, simplest and best version of SYNC. Date Confirmed: Jun 10, 2013 Version: Gen2 - V3.5.1
  6. I dunno you need to remember that push button start is standard on the Prius-C. Here in Canada you'll quickly end up with a $42,000 car if you go for all the trimmings.
  7. In the Hybrid - people have complained that upgrading the sub has produced weird sounds because of the Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) used to quiet the cabin.
  8. Increasing the maximum pure electric speed to 85 mph from 62 mph, allowing increased use of electric-only mode on the highway Optimizing the use of Active Grille Shutters to reduce aerodynamic drag under more driving and temperature conditions including cold weather, during air conditioner use and when the engine coolant temperature is higher Reducing the electric fan speed as a function of coolant temperature to minimize the fan's energy consumption Shortening engine warm-up time by up to 50 percent to enable electric-only driving and engine shutdown at stops sooner after cold starts Optimizing the climate control system to minimize use of the air conditioning compressor and reduce the energy used in cold weather operation Awesome! Our ECU update is here. Hopefully those grills stay shut on cold days
  9. Where did you get them? I'm interested! PM if its from a secret source.
  10. $934.85 Still not the cheapest - "I ordered mine from http://autonationfordwhitebearlake.com/. They were $872+shipping."
  11. I'm almost certain they would, its just taking air from the ventilation system and pushing it through the seat bottoms.
  12. Here in Toronto we have 10-15% ethanol blend and we also have no ethanol 94 octane... Don't really see any MPG improvements here - 900 KM to a tank is 900 KM to a tank. Throttle was a bit better on the 94 stuff but its not worth an extra $10-15 per tank.
  13. WTF? My dealer claims the fuel delivery module part won't be available until September?
  14. Hmm? I don't think a HyTi is any different than a regular SE hybrid or the soon to be S hybrid... Only the Energi has a charger port.
  15. I wish! It does seem to really guzzle it back for a 2.0L engine... I dunno I think they need a few software tweaks, why does the engine *always* run higher than its needed RPM's if the battery isn't > ~90%? Either way will notify the dealer so they can order the required parts so I don't have to come in twice - cracking noise.
  16. Absolutely I have the exact same problem. Galaxy Note II running Android 4.1.2 here. So basically connect the phone and attempt to play audio immediately. The audio will skip, play at the incorrect speed and have other audible anomalies. It will play fine after about a minute and a half. My guess is Sync is indexing the phone at the same time and there is a shortage of bandwidth to deliver audio. If you connect the phone or the phone is already connected for over two minutes and I attempt to play audio, it plays back fine. Its something to do with the initial connection.
  17. Are you kidding me? It took me about 6 hours to do the entire thing - there are hidden screws in the front end and the wheel well - That probably took an hour alone because the screws are really difficult to take out - can't use a screw driver head on, you have to rotate it.
  18. Come on someone just do it already!
  19. You know its definetly possible - the cars share the exat same drive train. The real problem is just buying an onboard charge controller assembly and hooking it up correctly to the battery. The problem is the batteries are designed to disconnect their relays when the vehicle is off - when you plugin a leaf (and probably others) you can hear these realy's clicking on. I'm more than certain companies will be offering this eventually - Enginer or other plug in conversion companies should be offering it eventually - hopefully this year Maybe people should send them an email to show them interest.
  20. All this talk about the charger really makes me wish *again* I had gotten the plugin version.
  21. Did you try placing a resistor between the bulb and the input? My guess is since the bulb has such an insignificant draw it its causing a few problems.
  22. I got this on mine as well after hitting the sidewalk curb that was unusually large > 8 inches high.
  23. Yep - I wish I had just gotten a 2014 instead Too bad I don't have all the money in the world. Hey if I had a lemon law here in Canada I could have lemoned this thing, gotten a refund and 2014'd it.
