  1. Nice review Chevys! The SRX is yet another bright spot in the Cadillac lineup. They truly are on a roll and their products are top notch. Thanks for posting your impressions.
  2. Hey cool, more personal attacks. You must feel really cool. That will certainly show me. BTW, what is the fuel consumption of the Tahoe/Caprice/Charger/Impala at idle? You seem to have done very extensive testing, I'm interested in the results.
  3. My roommate had a 200 before his Mustang. It was a great car. Nice interior, very fuel efficient, nice size and reliable. The only complaint I had was the base 4-banger could have had a bit more power. Other than it was a lot of car for his money. He really liked it. This one looks to vastly improve on an already solid foundation.
  4. That would make more sense. Get people revved up in the winter months and have them ready to purchase by the time the snow is melting.
  5. YES! If they made the Taurus and Explorer PI CNG capable that would be a major step forward. I bet most cities of and reasonable size have a central filling station for all of the cities vehicles. Ford could make some inroads by getting cities to convert all of their vehicles (public works, PD, FD, etc) to Ford and have them all CNG. Great way to help cities and offer a reason to go with Ford.
  6. Amazing what you can see from a different angle. This car has a knockout interior.
  7. Remember though that Ford could say anything they want regarding Lincoln to try and influence buyers and the market. They have done it before where they have said something and then a short time later, completely reversed course. I don't think anyone knows what they are doing with Lincoln....even the people running it. Very disorganized.
  8. Then you can't really use fuel economy as an argument for or against ANY brand's police vehicles. Thank you for proving my point. The Taurus and Explorer are no better than the competition or the Crown Vic.
  9. He's completely wrong. Just because someone does not agree with YOUR OPINION does not mean they are delusional or obtuse....well, except in the BONer world. You and I don't agree for some reason, but I do not believe you are delusional or obtuse. And, I don't have to resort to petty name calling like you, akirby, and others need to do when a disagreement occurs. I stopped doing that way back in elementary school.
  10. The Taurus and Explorer are not very comfortable and are fuel hogs. An officer friend of mine has an Explorer and his main complaints are comfort and the infuriating turn signals. When asked about fuel economy, he is getting around 13 mpg...which is awful for a mid-sized sport utility vehicle with a V6. He does appreciate the space though...and the auxiliary port. Other than that, like said, it's an appliance.
  11. I have not yet read their review of the Malibu so I cannot comment on what it contains. However their overview seemed pretty positive. http://www.consumerreports.org/cro/chevrolet/malibu.htm
  12. In a perfect world, any automaker should be able to have a decent product (like the Fusion) and a flawless launch. Until that happens, there is still a lot of work to do. And is the Civic a poor product? Because it had an "emergency make over" done to it. An automaker should be applauded for taking such swift action and making over a product rather then letting the status quo languish on the lots like all automakers have done including Ford.
  13. Yep. not a failure, but money was spent on a refresh that didn't help sales any from where they were.
  14. Any automaker that doesn't invest in CNG is missing a major opportunity. This country is loaded with natural gas and could put a lot of people to work and help the US not buy so much oil from the middle east.
  15. Very nice interior. A major leap forward over the current car. Chrysler is on a roll!
  16. I don't think you understand the definition of the words you are posting...but nice job getting the spelling right.
  17. They probably think they're spot on. Here though:
  18. If you're not, watch out. These self parking and self driving cars will be killing people left and right.
  19. It certainly makes for a reason to issue another press release I guess. Go TAURUS go.
  20. No, that would be asinine. If that silly notion were true, then nobody can comment on anything which really isn't the point of a forum.
  21. Amazing that this behavior is tolerated yet I'm the one being publicly threatened with being banned for discussing topics like an adult and supporting arguments with facts.
