    As of about a year ago the roofline had a slightly sharper rake to it, which even in a drawing looked like it would leave little room in the third row. They clearly addressed that at some point without compromising the original design too much.

    I can tell you with 100% certainty that youre wrong. The Aviator is built off of the next generation Explorer on CD6.

    I take blame for that one. I saw something under the cover that played a trick on me and made me think it was bigger than it was. Keep in mind Ive known what the Aviator looks like for over a year now.

    I think a lot of that stems from it still being a pretty new segment in the US market. Its still pretty unclear what it will ultimately be.
