  1. Yes there is, They still have PDI and garage working while the rest of the plant is idled. I have a friend there as I type this.
  2. There's a little more to it than that There's a backlog of Continentals waiting to be repaired before they can ship them out.
  3. Ever since the 2012 model year, there's been features removed from the Focus every year
  4. Can't say I'm surprised about the door handles. It doesn't make much sense to blend them into the beltline like they did on the Continental since it naturally sits higher than the car. I too am curious if they stay conventional or go electronic.
  5. HAHA HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA HAHAHAHAHA Sorry, I can't help but laugh because they were in such a hurry to bring everyone back.
  6. I don't know about you, but I bookmarked the page on my phone. Not trying to be a dick, just saying there's options. When the contract was ratified, the leadership at 3000 told us they were only getting a total of 5 books and it was first come first serve.
  7. You do realize the entire thing is on the UAW/Ford website right?
  8. . Good luck getting anything out of CN. They're notorious in the railroad industry for doing things their way and not being very customer friendly.
  9. Makes sense, MAP already builds hybrids so the battery tooling is already there
  10. To be fair, who the hell has ever heard of the Kizachi, and Galant has been totally irrelevant for years already. I'm surprised it's lasted this long, as well as Mitsu in general.
  11. I've noticed a pattern with him, anything he doesn't like he considers "toxic"
  12. Not that I will ever in my lifetime by a 2 door anything that isn't an old Mach 1 Mustang ever again, but I would like to see both a 2 and 4 door Bronco.
  13. I honestly haven't heard a word about it, only with the 10 speed. I'll ask around and see what I can glean.
  14. And how do you know it wouldn't? Most of the work they would need to do in final is on the chassis side, and even then it's not as much as you might think. They definitely need to expand some clearances for the extended length of a truck, and some expansion in the suspension area to account for frames instead of just subframes. Semi-educated guess, total of 3 months of retooling time. They're already doing work in stamping and paint. They've painted a few bodies already.
  15. He's not the only one. Nearly every single person I've talked to who doesn't even casually follow the industry thinks it's a new version of the old compact Ranger.
  16. WTF are you talking about? Ford isn't starting anything major in MAP until 2018.
  17. FRAP is not and probably won't be any time soon, if ever.
  18. it's not widely available yet, that's why. Once they start building more you should start seeing more of it.
