FCA has been known to give gigantic discounts on those to the point where they barely profit from them at times.

I saw an article a few days ago stating that there was about 30,000 potential orders for the Continental in the US alone, not including standard dealer stock the way I understood the article. The order bank hasn't opened yet so no idea what that will translate to as far as actual orders but it's a promising start. I have a theory about a potential shift addition but I don't want to get too far into that right now in a public forum. I wouldn't say things aren't going smooth per se, but yeah, there have been some pretty major growing pains. This car is proving to be more complicated to build than they they thought it would be.

I'm not, but I cannot vouch for everyone. I seriously doubt it though.

Yours might be being held at the plant for a number of potential reasons.

Nissan trucks (both Titan and Frontier) are popular in Virginia. I saw a bunch of them when I was there on my honeymoon last year.

Oh believe me, I want them to speed it up too, but for totally different reasons. The sooner they get to Job 1, the more likely it is FRAP becomes my permanent home. As noted many times, I'm tired of being stuck in limbo, and recent news from people in the know puts that being the case until sometime well into 2017. But they're working For us....

I can't remember off hand what company does it, but there is an aftermarket tuning company that is authorized by ford to boost power in certain models without voiding the warranty. I know the Focus ST is one of them. Not sure if any of the Mustang models are eligible.

The concept is 3 rows, albeit only 6 seats. It's mentioned in the release on Lincoln's website. They've just done a terrible job of showing it in photos.

As long as they can do it without compromising towing capacity. I see a lot of Expys pulling campers and large boats.

To go a step further, I don't think Nissan has the resources to put into their truck that Ford has. If nothing else, Ford has been building top notch trucks for longer than Nissan has even been a company.

I have heard zero mention of it around the plant. That's not a good thing. Usually if something like that were coming, there would be rumors floating around the plant floor.

But those are halo cars. Production will always be limited.

I doubt it, but I've been surprised before.

The batteries themselves, no, but the battery pack assemblies are assembled at Rawsonville.

I think it has more to do with Flex sales continuing to be relatively consistent and steady.

This is where I would love to see a video or documentary of the full process, because all of these snippets floating around aren't giving us the full picture.

I think the body shop has 2 separate lines though. Technically 3 since the SD body and beds are built separately.

They're reminiscent of the ones from the Continental concept, and I didn't care for those very much either. The production versions only look marginally better, but at least they're being consistent with their styling. I just hope being consistent doesn't turn into every vehicle looking identical.
