If you're referring to page 104 of the contract I think you are wrong. Says if you're laid off because off reduction of work force and you lose your seniority while on layoff (which could be many different reasons) and then you are rehired within a year you will continue your wage progression where you left off. Unless you were at max then you get rehired at max...IDK thats what I get from it.

If you have 3-4 years seniority now you would reach the max of 25.35 by the end of the contract. Any less you would not have enough time to max out this contract and it would have to be dealt with next contract...

If you look at the highlights bulletin it shows pretty clear the wage progression..the news story is wrong about needing 6 years seniority to get 25hr

I think they are just misinterpreting the highlights bulletin..if you have 3 years seniority you will hit the 25hr by the end of the contract
