  1. To me transfer/recall rights is a big gain, job security wise...but yeah pension and healthcare in retirement isn't happening
  2. There are recall rights in this new agreement ...no healthcare in retirement though, that is what the $1 per hour worked is for

  6. If you're referring to page 104 of the contract I think you are wrong. Says if you're laid off because off reduction of work force and you lose your seniority while on layoff (which could be many different reasons) and then you are rehired within a year you will continue your wage progression where you left off. Unless you were at max then you get rehired at max...IDK thats what I get from it.
  7. If you have 3-4 years seniority now you would reach the max of 25.35 by the end of the contract. Any less you would not have enough time to max out this contract and it would have to be dealt with next contract...
  8. If you look at the highlights bulletin it shows pretty clear the wage progression..the news story is wrong about needing 6 years seniority to get 25hr
  9. I think they are just misinterpreting the highlights bulletin..if you have 3 years seniority you will hit the 25hr by the end of the contract

  12. I make $6hr less now then I did as a mondays/fridays part timer in 2002
  13. If you are to retire, quit or be terminated, vested funds are yours. You just can't touch company contributed funds until then.

  15. Did you sign for the lts openings or did they call you for permanent opening?
  16. One thing to think about is will you be denied unemployment because you refused work if you dont sign up for the lts openings?

  18. 1994 seniority is the lowest seniority transferring to Livonia trans...make sense now?
  19. They dont match but they contribute 4% of gross weekly paycheck and also contribute $1 for every hour worked up to 40 per week
  20. 94 is the lowest going to livonia from map final
  21. Is a tier 2 job really worth moving out of state? Especially with no moving allowance $$$$. Dont sign any, just wait the layoff out and you will get a call somewhere in zone.
