Guy in my department is on r drot & he's been on medical for past 10 months straight he is NOT considered active he won't b getting the bonus coming up in June

Sterling, rawsonville & woodhaven r tier 2 only plants they get same bennys except pension & top out at $22.50 but can transfer to any n all openings at tier 1 plants but can stay if they choose

Sterling axle buyout takers can pick retirement date between May 1st & December 1st production guys. No clue how trades r going about it

R old timers at sterling were told they could leave at the earliest may 1st the latest December 1st & any 1st's of months in between they can also go. I heard 92 signed up to leave here

Agree caustic, there's little shops all throughout southeastern Michigan with finger or thumbprint scanners takes 2 secs to punch in/out they have them throughout the plant so there's not 30 peeps deep in line waiting it's cost effective & fast, probably does away with several bosses also

Hey rouge were in the car making business losing jobs to Mexico affects trades/production both of all cars r made outside the USA there's not gonna b any project jobs for u or the contractors & no we didn't get everything back no 15% raise but it's a darn good start

Yea I agree decker, I've got no problem having my attorneys aka the uaw bargaining for my contract which I believe is roughly 70% of the dues I pay but I have a hard time with them doing whatever the hell they please with the remainder of my dues -
Buyouts would b a good thing, I know there's quite a few production & trades both hoping for 1 at Sterling

I been at Sterling 20yrs & it's always been for sale I think, only time anything actually happened was the visteon debacle, but the sign out front today was just a smartass bein funny
