Which this also has, which gives it a 10ft bed! Im not familiar with the avalanche set up though. Regardless of the take rate, i think it's a good and functional engineering choice.

People still dont want low riding cars like they used too. Ford's decision made sense to me then, and still does. The only thing cars had over crossovers was efficiency, and then automakers made crossovers more efficient.

The most "flop" thing about this truck is thr interior, imo. But GM hasnt impressed me with an interior in a very long time.

I think the mid-gate is brilliant use of space and flexibility. Im not sure what the take rate would be but seems more usable then other bed tricks like Rams side storage things that cuts into bed width, and definitely beats not being able to extend your bed at all!

Nice truck! The multifunction bed is pretty awesome. Im surprised this thing can reach 7 figures! Not a big fan pf the interior. Looks out of place for a pickup, which makes sense since it looks like the main UI/dash design looks like it Is in the upcoming Equinox EV. Overall I am impressed.

I love it, but didnt expect or imagine it to be so small. A little dissapointing. Im even more excited to see another fresh take on automotive design with EVs. Im hoping Lincoln takes some risk, to pull the brand further in design.

Sorry, off topic... I'm not surprised the Vette is not going E yet. All of it's engineering and investments are still new. This will probable be the last generation with an engine though.

I love the Maverick. I'm glad the Rivian won. It is the first all electric pickup to market, and it's a great truck! Not affordable for most families probably but it's not exclusive to the the rich either. The Maverick is great in it's own right but in terms of Truck of the Year, greater innovation & the future of mobility wins this time.

I was skeptical that it would make it to production looking like concept/prototype but... they are doing it. That's pretty amazing. I'm excited for continued innovation, and I'm excited to see automakers actually take advantage of new design directions you can go with EVs. I also think that it's great that some people think it's hideous. It's better to have a reaction to not even know it exist. And automakers don't have to design everything for everyone. The Truck will sell, to who it sells to, which apparently is not you guys haha. AND DAMN THAT WIPER BIG AF WTF

If I were running Ford, AND THIS IS JUST WHAT I WOULD DO before anyone screams, I would not put another Develop dollar towards ICE with maybe an exception for some F-Series models. Every new vehicle Ford/Lincoln released from now on would be an EV. I'd go all in. It is feasible, we can innovative enough to make the turn around that quick and drastic while bringing the public with us. I am a Mustang Bullitt and 351 Bronco owner, so I'm sad to see the V8 and manual go... but it's time. We'll still have what Ford has built over the last 100+ years in the world for us to enjoy, albeit with synthetic fuel...

I see no reason NOT to try it... if it doesn't work or draw any conversation, it could be done away with pretty easily right?
