I put the Stratos Formula One at 35% on my 2 front doors by Tennessee Tint Company. I’m amazed at how much heat it cuts out over the tint from my last truck which had a basic ATR 35%. When we return from our trip, I will have both rear doors done with a clear tint for heat purposes and the front windshield also. Tint like other things, you get what you pay for. Just my 2 cents. FYI- $240 for both doors. Lifetime warranty. Hope this helps.

I’m not sure about the topcoat version. I had the LineX ultra in my last truck. The difference was it was guaranteed not to fade and it did not. It was great. Going to do the LineX in this one after a few camping trips.

I’m not sure about Maintenance plans, but go online to Flood Ford esp and look at their prices for the plan you want so you will know. I saved well over a thousand on it.

Received my F350 6.7, CCSB, Platnium Antimatter Blue Nov. 12. So far I have not had any issues and form and fit is great.

Thank you, Ice-Capades, yes my order paper shows my x-plan price from April. I was also told that I was protected from the June price increase. We will see. I have been getting emails about truck and received confirmation email that same day. Again , thank you for your continual support to all of us kids waiting on Christmas. Lol. Ice, I’m trying to understand my window sticker. I ordered my F350 on April 30 under the X-plan. In early June, I went to the dealership to give them the info for COVP. Regional manager changed priority from 10 to 02 in September. Truck was finally scheduled for week 10/11, moved to 10/18, moved to 10/25 with built day 10/30. Window sticker was released today and it’s blue and doesn’t show x plan. Was this order placed as a dealer stock and not a customer COVP order? Thank, trying to understand and maybe realize why it’s taken so long. Thank you for helping all of us understand a little more

After talking to 2 local LineX dealers and they are having a time getting material, I decided to drop the line. I have been told that it adds about 5-6 days to production because it goes to another facility to be completed. Coming up on 6 months, I just want my truck, enough delays. First Ford and the order process is the absolute worst I’ve ever experienced.

I have use a PullRite slider in my short bed for 8 years. Duramax was totaled in hail storm in April. Ordered a F350 and hope to get this month. I contacted PullRite and purchased the mounts to convert to the puck system. My old system was the universal rails. What I like about the PullRite #2900 is it is automatic. I don’t have to worry about unlocking. Also , you install a capture plate on your 5th wheel hitch. That will keep anyone without the same hitch from towing it( security). If you need someone to tow it, remove it. Fantastic customer service. No grease. Only drawback, it is heavy at about 250 lbs. Change to puck system was 500. vs buying a new hitch.

After the Regional Manager changed my priority to a 02, I got a vin # the next week for a built week of 10/11. Next week it was changed to built week 10/18. Hope it holds up.

Reece Goosebox, to my knowledge is the only gooseneck that Lippert approved.

I have a PullRite slider in a short bed, so I’m no help there. My thoughts in your situation is to have someone with a 5th wheel hitch that can help. That way , when that great deal comes along you can move quick. My reasoning is you might find the perfect trailer and it has a Reece goosebox or other gooseneck and now you wasted your money on the wrong hitch. Just my 2 cents.

My dealer and Regional Manager just changed my April Super duty F350 from a priority 10 to a priority 2. Not sure it help, but I sure need a truck.

Maybe that’s the problem if a deposit is required. I was prepared to give one but they insisted that I did not need to.

I ordered a 22 F350 Platinum on April 30. After learning of the COVP on this forum in early June, I went into my dealership and ask him to submit my order into it. Sales Manager stated he had seen the email but hadn’t read it yet. We sat down in his office and he submitted it. I have asked 3 times and showed him a screen shot of the approval email. He has insisted that the email comes to me. He stated there is no way he can check on approvals. That just doesn’t seem right. Anyone know how to check this. Maybe I can call him and walk him thru it. I know I should not have to do this, but I want my truck. Since mine was totaled, canceled all camping plans since April. Help anyone?
