  1. ? do you haul bulldozers, panzer tanks or pyramids? Lol Never seen a 125 tire pressure.
  2. That says a lot about adaptive steering...if a man that already had that option once is willing to let a truck order go 3-6 months more to keep that option on the next truck.?
  3. Meh..... Trailer tire look smooshed...me stop fill.....no look smoosh keep drive. Lol just kidding. That would be a handy tool to have as trailer tires are not the easiest to monitor min by min by mirror, and WHEN you do get a flat you RARELY ever catch it in the optimal time to prevent damage to tire/rim or whatever. Been there, done that!?
  4. Following this thread to what is said about this..... There are some pretty knowledgeable guys here I'm very interested to see what they have to say about this. (I may go buy some extras....just in case!)
  5. My travel trailer is 33' from ball to rear bumper...8500 lbs loaded with all our supplies, nicknacks, and crap we carry along. When hooking up the trailer my truck drops 1 inch. With the weight distribution bars it lifts it right back up....(you guessed it)...1 inch(or more). I pull the camper with a standard ball. If your truck has heavy enough suspension you don't need weight distribution, that hitch will take weight off your truck rear tires. Weight distribution is for the guys pulling a travel trailer that their truck has enough towing capacity but not enough suspension or cargo capacity(examples: f150, toyota tundra, nissan titan, chevy S-10, and f250 w/grocery getter package...jk [going to ruffle some feathers with that one])..and the truck squats severely in the rear. Just pulled it today from Charlotte NC 4hrs up the mountains to Gatlinburg TN...pulls great, no trailer sway or issues. See how much your truck squats in the back before you go out and buy a hitch you may not even need.
  6. Thank you for posting this Daniel I will read into this tonight..... If things would have gotten any worse I would have been on the side of the road reading it , thanks again for the post!?
  7. I made it to the campground. The truck would run into all rpm ranges but had absolutely no takeoff power. So with no traction control I had to put it in the manual and keep the rpm's up. Before going into the next gear or it would bog down and and limp its way backup into a usable rpm range. Which I understand that because with no traction control they would want to limit the power going into these trucks because it is a lot of horsepower and torque especially if you have the 430 rear end like I do. Without any traction control in snow or even rain it would spin like crazy and would be dangerous around turns. I turned off all traction control and stability once before, even barely touching the throttle it would break loose like crazy in gravel (that was before the pedal monster). With all traction off and a pedal monster at 25% the truck would be undriveable in mud/snow/sand or gravel. But it is dry and I had a lot of weight on the back So not too worried about traction control on warm dry pavement. I did pull over to the side of the road and try turning off, back on several times and that did not do anything. But after unhooking the camper I hopped in the truck to move the truck out of the campground road and the fault went away. I guess I need to go buy a scan tool then swing by the dealership this week.
  8. So Truck is in some kind of limp mode where it is severely underpowered, I am Creeping through the Mountains. I don't have my scan tool with me but the error comes upThat advanced track has a fault. It has turned off all drive modes And traction control and and made this where it is extremely slow. 1st chance I get to find a scanner I will stop and get one and make it to a dealership book is to a dealership but does anybody have Any ideas on how I could reset this or clear the fault just to get me where I'm going at a non prius speed.
  9. I was just poking at him a little bit..... I believe I asked the same question when I got the truck? Because Ford States 397 alternator but never says 397 total dual alternators. So it does get quite confusing, comma just a little ribbing..... I was gonna wait for him to say Yup one big Honking alternator Damn this voice to text I have to edit 3 times while driving???
  10. ⬆️ There is always that one guy that does not know what is really going on.....???
  11. You are getting some good use with her..i wish i had more time to drag my camper ...???
  12. Gravity feed is only allowed for diesel...gasoline has to be pumped out and not able to free flow after siphon action.
  13. I just got a pco for 2500.....7 DAMN MONTHS AFTER I GOT THE TRUCK?......??? Oh well...?
  14. Truck color opinions are like......(well you know the saying) Pick the color you like...who cares what anyone else thinks! Pick the color that will make you grin when you walk out and see it in the driveway in the mornings...? With that being said....I vote silver!?
  15. My f350 CCLB 4x4 came with 3300 or 3500 (IF I REMEMBER CORRECTLY)(lb rated) 33" tires. I changed them to 35" 4080 (lb rated) tires. The 35s feel better towing than the stock AT tires did. Now that they are worn in a bit the handling on these 285/75s aggressive tires gives a tighter/rougher ride than the goodyear Kevlar 275/70 smooshy bouncy junk tires that came on the truck. I don't believe it is your tire height that makes the tremor a not ideal towing truck....it is the suspension/extremely low cargo capacity.
  16. 109...wow! With that you could drive from the Atlantic to the Pacific and never stop for fuel @ 15-16 mpg. Even towing will get you 1500+/-. I like the ATI...well built, good price. Mine was 1150 with options and freight, 100 for fuel pump and 150 for stainless lines and fittings. I got lucky and this tank was the perfect size I wanted. But they can alter and customize the design if needed they have many DOT approved gasoline tank sizes. Tank and barrel had the best pricing on that tank so I bought it though them, and I checked every site and local business out there.
  17. One is the supply, the other is a vent for the truck tank back into the aux tank...and the aux tank is standalone vented also. This tank also has check valves in the fittings...in case of rollover it will/should block the vent) lines. I really didn't need the vent in the filler tube as both tanks are individually vented and the pump I went with is ridiculously low volume gpm, but I figure, it's better this way rather than vent fumes out of the side of the truck at the fuel door. People know not to smoke at a gas station pump, but no one would think twice about walking up beside a truck smoking a cigarette or cigar. I only pump while not driving so I can monitor, and just figure it's better to vent from tank to tank to center of truck with low fumes. Rather then right out the gas door.
  18. I'll trade you a weedeater, 3 john Denver cassette tapes and a goat named robin hood for it.....?
  19. I agree 110%... Facebook Marketplace, Craigslist, or whatever....is miserable! It's always one of the following... 1. Set up meeting time and no show with no call to cancel (and when you call them to see if they are lost, running behind or why they did not show....they do not even answer their phones) 2. The guy that comes out and offers 50% of what you are asking. (And just to toy with them you say "yeah, i may take that, let me think about it"), they look real surprised and then inform you they need to sell a few thing and it may take a couple weeks or ask if you will take payments....lol 3. The guy that comes out to look at what you are selling. Looks at what you are selling for 35 seconds and then talks about everything under the sun (except the item your selling) for an hour and the says "I'll think about it" and leaves, only to call back the next day and want to talk about Biden vs Trump. and the worst one...... 4. The guy that texts and offers to trade you his broken weedeater, 4 John Denver cassette tapes, and a three legged goat named Bill for your $20k boat. Truck buyers are the worst....the ones that are seriously interested seem to only have a fraction of a percent of the money and need to THEN figure out how to come up with the rest. ....ohhhhh it's brutal!?‍?
