  1. I told one in Home Depot, loudly yelling at me and my kids that the only thing putting him in danger was not minding his own business and if he didn’t leave us alone I guaranteed he’d be in the hospital by the end of the day. One of the employees told me later they had removed the same guy from the store the day prior and policy was to not get involved.
  2. Anyone willing to pay that much isnt my peer ? You may as well just go on an entire rant about capitalism and supply/demand. You better not sell your house for a profit after that speech. As far as “flipping” the truck… anyone that waited months for a good deal has every right to make money from anyone willing to pay an up charge for the luxury of not waiting. How much is your time worth? Mine certainly isn’t free.
  3. When I played football in high school, they used diesel to mark the lines on our practice field. One spray in June and they’d be there all summer/fall.
  4. Local airport by me has an oil collection facility, and will also take trash in a special bin. I use disposable shop towels. Rags are too hard to clean.
  5. Same reason you don’t leave oily rags, fuel soaked trash etc in a garbage can in your garage. Spontaneous combustion. Decomposing trash creates heat, noxious gases, methane, etc. If everyone did what you say you do, there would be more fires than they already have. There’s a reason it’s illegal. Maybe a little less pompous sanctimony and a little more respect for the people that have to clean up your crap. Do it right.
  6. Do not do this. This is how azzholes put people at risk that work in receiving facilities. Dispose of it properly.
  7. When no one wants your product, you have no problems. (Nice 'ish truck)
  8. I've been trying to figure out how to get NS to track my order for days.
  9. You should've walked. Too many dealers are willing to give deals to tolerate the ones that won't. Buddy of mine leveraged Grangers offer to get invoice -3% but not until they knew he was dead serious about it. GM finally came out and agreed.
  10. What we’re they driving? Can’t imagine the impact to crush the front end on one of these trucks? Even more amazed they walked away.
  11. We had a brand new bobtail (think single cab, short bed utility box) F-350 towing 150k lb aircraft within 10 miles of new. Even the 20 year old ones are still running hard.
  12. I’ve got ours equipped with a pretty robust solar and batter package for this very reason. Makes boon docking ways easier/more comfortable.
  13. Gross. Not a fan of the new Tundra either.
  14. If you crack the code let me know, been barking up every tree suggested for months.
  15. Curious if you could've been found at fault if anything had happened. I'm surprised Ford isn't being more aggressive in getting customers in to have this rectified.
  16. These videos are cute, but the real data shows Teslas autopilot accident rate is a fraction of actual human drivers. They have billions of miles of data. When ever I drive my wife’s Model Y it’s the first thing I turn on. I LOVE it. Especially in stop and go traffic jams. I can just sit back and watch. It’s f’ing awesome. In thousands of miles of using it I only ever had to take control once, last week actually. 35mph on a residential road, there was a “chicane” s-turn in the road that also opened up a middle turn lane and it got confused. Maybe it would’ve figured it out but I clicked it off before I could find out. Supposedly Blue Cruise is just as good, but it has to be on established/mapped roads.
  17. Can you not see the location of the truck in the app on the map?
  18. This point right here is why I opted to order an F-350 to pull our travel trailer. I'm like #3000 (out of a supposed 1m+ reservations) for the Tesla Cybertruck. I have no doubt it will be awesome and do everything they tout and more.... however there are no pull through superchargers to accommodate towing (yet). It would require unhitching, parking the truck to charge, then when complete hooking back up and being on your way. To the second point, with 360Kw charging, charge times will be fast. Even 150 is pretty freakin' quick. If you haven't road tripped an EV you don't do it like a gas vehicle. You take enough charge to get to the next stop, you don't fill all the way up (the last 10% takes the longest). Fastest charge times are when the battery is the lowest. 10-15 minutes and you're on your way again to the next stop which is perfect because it's 2-3 hour legs and I'm ready to stand and walk around for a few minutes anyway. With autopilot on, it's freaking awesome.
  19. Just ordered mine 4 days ago (F-350, Tremor, 6.7). I'll be waiting right along with you! My first Ford truck, always been a Ram guy but no dealer would take an order under the FCA affiliate rewards program. Several dealers told me that they've been advised to expect the program to be suspended 1 Oct so if I did order one, the price would change, and it would be MSRP or more. So now I'm a Ford guy (in waiting)!
