  1. From what I hear, the roof line stays. Minor, non sheetmetal tweaks are all it gets.
  2. Have you never seen Star Trek II? Blasphemy!
  3. I think the fact that this is not sophisticated is what has everyone talking about it. Simple, easy to use and does not require anything other then opening and closing a compartment that is easy to get to. I'm willing to bet that this same feature will eventually be seen on Fords and GM's sooner rather then later. Also, Ram had the trailer anti-sway control since last model year (on the last gen Ram).
  4. With Rambox, you can still put a 4X8 piece of plywood in the bed (as per the press release). You can also get a bed w/out Rambox with a wider bed interior.
  5. I'm not looking for a "This country sells better stuff then this country" thread. I'm actually surprised over the fact everyone thought this was a joke/photoshop a few months back. I don't suppose you have anymore shots of this? Curious what the front 1/4 looks like with that grille....the pic attached is too close-up. Edit...nevermind, found one of the old spy pics:
  6. I hate to say....you would be wrong, I still admire the Panthers. I don't get whipped up in a frenzy over them, but I don't dislike them. Nice back peddle though. Edit: Also, quite scary that you had to search my posts back over 4 months to find that little gem...me talking about the Hyundai Genesis interior: Oy vay.
  7. If this has already been posted...who cares, the Mafia will talk about it again anyway. Didn't we see spy shots of this a while ago and everyone assumed it was a bad photoshop?
  8. The people Ovaltine refer to almost always lease. Cheapest way to status.
  9. Isn't one of the oldest arguments on this board not to buy a car because of the badge? If the Hyundai is a better car and you get more for the money, who the heck cares what badge is on it? I drive cheap cars all the time and have the money to buy much more "prestigious" brands. Who gives two craps what anyone else thinks...let them make the payment.
  10. Count me in for liking the Verve. My wife saw one in the paper and thought it was really nice too. I will agree it will look much different in person (ie. smaller) because my wife thought it was the same size as an Accord. After I told her it was more along the lines of a Scion, she still liked it (and she HATES small cars).
  11. Remember, the "next" model year starts a mere 3 months after the initial batch of SRT's. Those V6 models and 5.7L R/T's are coming much sooner then many think.
  12. CTS wagon was supposedly given a green-light though.
  13. Just to prove that there are differing views on everything.........here's another view on the Ram's interior, from someone who was also in it: http://blogs.cars.com/kickingtires/2008/01...dodge.html#more ...from the same website, a view of the F-150 interior: http://blogs.cars.com/kickingtires/2008/01...ose-2009-1.html Do either of these count for anything in your book? Not mine. Judge any car/truck for yourself and let the press keep their opinions.
  14. I'm in NY and my wife's Santa Fe is registered is registered as a "Suburban". No ducks here.
  15. I want to like this car....I really do because it is a risky design for Ford/Lincoln compared to what we have been used to. But, it just does absolutely nothing for me. It looks bloated and ill-proportioned to me. Mind you its just my opinion, which very well may not match the buying public.
  16. Not sure....the "arguing" and "trashing" threads seem to be outnumbering the "praising" thread by a pretty good margin. I'm indifferent on it. Neither like nor dislike. I still want my 94 Supercab XLT 5.8L back. I don't care how squeaky it would be by now.
  17. Charger will remain a four door. Those pictures.......ummmmmmmmmm no.
  18. However this is one of those innovations that is going to have GM and Dodge (and Toyota and Nissan) smacking their heads and thinking, "Why didn't we think of that?" That is just a totally smart idea--it's blindingly obviously now that someone's actually done it. Tacky grille aside, this is EXACTLY why the F150 is where it is today. Ram actually got that last year (the trailer sway control) (MY08)
  19. Very cool storage (illuminated even) Much better execution then the "trunk underneath all your cargo" afterthought in the Ridgeline. Looks like you can fit a decent sized toolbox in there:
  20. I see absolutely nothing wrong with that interior. If the interior were in any Ford Co car, all the naysayers would be praising it. It is quite handsome.
