  1. Hmmmm...I'll be flying this weekend to CA from NY. Maybe I'll see this.
  2. I never claimed there was a good one. :shades:
  3. Did Michael Bay make that one after Armageddon? Talk about overblown musical cheesiness! (Well, it worked for Armageddon....)
  4. My fav's already been posted. The Maverick...always loved that one.
  5. Guess I'm not going to be viewing that site.
  6. Which is a bit of a stretch since the "C" (which you would not consider a performance model) is comparable or much more performance oriented then the competition's supposed "performance" models. The SRT-8 is just one more rung up the ladder. Kinda like the difference between a Mustang GT and a Mustang Cobra. The Cobra did not make the GT any less of a performance model compared to most other cars...just the Cobra.
  7. I think its gotten more attention because it was pulled. Smart marketing!
  8. Actually, Chrysler has stated they are cutting their sales to rental fleets this year. Reuters: In comparison, Ford is cutting 135,000 sales from rental fleets. Considering the size (and sales) difference of the two companies, I'd say the reduction is quite comparable. IRNNews via Bloomberg
  9. I'm hoping you actually don't think that was done on purpose?
  10. Actually, that's the best I've ever seen it. I've noticed they take very well to customizing, but bone stock they are pretty ugly.
  11. Don't forget the PT Cruiser...I believe the Beetle is a hatch too (?)
  12. Unfortunately, the driver of the SD tow truck suffered 2nd and 3rd degree burns over 80% of his body. I don't think Ford wants any part of this sad event.
  13. Saw this on LXForums, didn't know they were the same bolt pattern(?). Pictured below are the base 17" aluminum wheels, but I'm sure the RT/300C or even the SRT-8 wheels would look mighty nice on a CV. (albeit removing the Dodge logo)
  14. Agreed... Translation: I'm playing really dumb. Translation: We are "talking" with a buyer yet...but we have a business plan all ready for it. The lack of a clear defined "No" says alot.
  15. Fully camoed or front and rears? I would imagine it has a mid-cycle refresh coming soon. The 2008 model is only the third year though of this gen.
  16. $4.99 Cup holder ashtray. Some people are just lazy and inconsiderate.
  17. The house I'm buying on Long Island is worth about $450,000 (a very reasonable price for our area). Yearly taxes? $7,400. Ugh.
  18. Funny thing is, those fleet stats everyone quotes are not even from the first 6 months of the year (as the report is titled). Using the Avenger as an example since that is the one everyone is ballyhooing about. In the fleet report everyone likes to quote, it states TOTAL YTD sales of 12,604. In Chrysler March 2007 sales report, the Avenger had already sold 15,515 YTD. So, I can assume that fleet report is through sometime around mid February, when the Avenger was on sale for approximately 5-6 weeks. Since many domestic manufacturers send a sizable amount of their initial production of a new car to fleets, I'm not surprised at the high number of fleet sales. I'd like to see what the percentages are now for a true assessment. Basically, as most have said, that entire fleet/retail pdf is rubbish when trying to figure out true fleet sales. Its released at a time most auto manufacturers are heavy on fleet sales (winter), artificially inflating fleet percentages for ALL manufacturers.
  19. Silly me... I thought we were talking about sales, not residuals.
  20. Forget the Impala? It has all of $500 more in incentive then the Fusion/Milan and almost doubles their combined retail sales.
  21. Man, you guys really have a warped sense of humor to be even joking about this. Try and think if that was your kid in that car. Laughing now? Call me an old fuddy duddy, but I don't find the humor in someone's accidental death because they were driving a "competitor's car".
