I like it, but what's up with the rear door on these things? Every spy shot or rendering I've seen in the past few months has a tiny rear door on them. What's the point of having a true 4 door if the rear two are practically useless? Ingress and egress for backseat passengers are going to be a joke.
  2. The 300, Magnum and Charger get 17 city / 25 highway (2006 EPA estimated miles per gallon). The Ram gets 15 / 19 in 2WD and 14 / 18 with 4WD. (again, this is 2006 EPA numbers) Dodge did not change the EPA estimates for the Ram when they switched over to the MDS equipped 5.7L (though they "claim" up to a 20% increase in fuel savings). Some people get better, some worse...it all depends on how you drive it.
  3. 5 of the last 6 months of total LX sales were the highest for them since they came out in April 2004. Yes, Charger is biting into 300 sales, but the total number of LX sales have grown in the process.
  4. The obsession with Acura is getting a bit stale. Range...pick on Infinti next month to change things up a bit.
  5. Charger actually outsold the 300 last month.
  6. Another article: Dodge Caliber ‘strongest’ Big Three launch in 3 years Demand is so high for the vehicle that dealers are selling them as fast as they get them. DaimlerChrysler’s slogan for the 2007 Dodge Caliber is “It’s Anything but Cute,†but the slogan that’s just as apt is “Here today, gone tomorrow.†Five months into its sales life and the demand for the combination sporty coupe/SUV being assembled at the 3.9 million-square-foot assembly plant in Belvidere continues to outpace supply. Tuesday, company officials cited “production issues†as the only thing holding back sales of the car that replaced the Neon as Chrysler’s entry in the small-car market. “We don’t even clean them up and put them in the showroom (when we get Calibers),†said Gary Dixon of Belvidere Motors. “We just put ’em out on the lot because as soon as people see one, they crowd around it.†Entire article at link above.
  7. The real question is...with all that product...do they actually sell more?
  8. I'll take my list one step further, and list ten of my favorite Ford cars I've owned: 1994 Ford F-150 Supercab XLT 5.8L (my first fullsizer) 1977 Ford Maverick 2 door. (Loved that car, the "other" Mustang) 1978 Ford Mustang II Cobra 1969 Ford Mustang Grande 1981 Ford Mustang (6 banger) 1987 Ford Mustang GT 1988 Ford Mustang Sedan 5.0L 1992 Ford Ranger Supercab (2.3L) 1991 Ford Probe 1940 Ford Coupe (Suh-weet!)
  9. Beautiful rendering. Beautiful car...but those rear doors would never make it. Ingress and egress would be nearly impossible for any human.
  10. :blah: I stopped reading his online rag a long time ago. How many times have we agreed on this board that this guy is pure shock journalism? Chrysler has got inventory problems, there's no doubt about that...but there's not much else in that "article" that I take at face value. Same goes for all the articles I read on that site on any manufacturer...
  11. I really like the Zephyr and would consider one, but I do not think the design of the interior is very aesthetically pleasing. Purely opinion though. Still a nice car.
  12. The new ST has a small storage compartment in its bed. Not exactly a trunk, but more of a small compartment to keep tools, etc... Not sure if the placement at the front of the bed was the best, but I'm sure its not used as much as the Ridgeline's either.
  13. Not great, not horrible...not much to talk about either.
  14. I didn't think the Freestyle could get any blander.
  15. Nothing wrong with them going up. I have two Hyundais.... No problems at all. They are great cars. I originally bought them as commuter vehicles to just throw miles on without a care, but have grown to really enjoy them. In honesty....most new cars are pretty high quality compared to just 10 - 15 years ago if properly maintained and taken care of.
  16. Two words: Freedom Fries   .
  17. I'm sure Honda had to think real deep and hard if they wanted to re-engineer an Acura model off the new Civic platform since the RSX was based off the old Civic platform. Guess we figured out the answer to that one. I saw in Canada they rebadge the current Civic as an Acura. Pretty pathetic.
  18. Why? I think this says it all: It sells good AND makes tons of money. As for the Fusion... "Single" my butt....if it maintains sales I'd say it's more like a triple heading home!
  19. NH picks up 46 Chargers... UnionLeader.com
  20. Sorry, I was looking at Feb's fleet sales. As for percentages...I agree, it goes both ways....strip out the dedicated sales of the lame-duck Stratus, Sebring and left over Neons and the percentages change dramatically as well.
  21. But Ford's fleet sales of 41% is good? (Up over 6%)
  22. For all the kudos I see it getting on many websites, it doesn't do anything for me.
  23. Yup, it is rated by Ford to 50mph (and meets gov's 30 mph standard) CBSnews
