forddaughter
A comment in another post got me thinking. How many vehicles do you have from the company who puts a roof over your head, food on the table etc. It also keeps the company going! Many employees of Ford have 2 or more vehicles with the possibility of lower wages comes the fact they won't be able to afford 2 let alone maybe 1!!! We have 3, all bought by my dad who was a 30 year employee, finished March 2007. 1997 F 250 2003 Windstar 2007 Five Hundred
WTF????
Everything in my driveway is Ford ( Thunderbird, Escort, Cougar and a brand new Escape) My parents drive nothing but Ford My brothers and both their wives drive Fords My best friend drives nothing but Fords as well as his wife. Since I was little my family was a Ford family and drove nothing but and that was long before my brother and I got jobs at the Oakville site. Fords have always been good reliable vehicles for my family and friends.

I buy 2 Ford cars, my Dad buys a Ford car, my mother,brother,2 sisters, their husbands and so on and so on. Take away the wages and their goes not only the new car buying experience but also the free advertisement by many who convince others to buy the product. I no longer work for the company, but still believe I am truely a walking advertisement for the company free of charge.

My vehicles: '99 Escort (about 60K miles, no rust, runs like new; will put it up against any '99 Corolla or '99 Civic!) '03 Taurus (son drives it, been rear-ended twice, but still looks new and runs great, no problems) '04 Explorer (wifes') '05 F150 '06 Explorer (daughters') '07 Focus (new Feb. this year, has a slight oil leak. Nothing's perfect!)

Imawhosure
2005 Ranger 2002 Taurus 2002 Super Duty Crew Powerstroke, all purchased new. 1993 Honda Civic Del Sol. Why the Honda? Got my neighbor to buy Ford for his family under X-Plan, and he was so happy he sold me his Del Sol cheap in return. I drive it as a badge of conversion, as he now wants Fords. A new Edge is in his sights, and his sister purchased a Freestyle under my X-Plan, due to his enthusiasm over his F-250 that was his Del Sol replacement. Maybe things are-a-changin. Let us all hope so!!!!! P.S. No problems with either the F-250 after 4 yrs, never to the dealer, and no problems with the Freestyle after 11 months, no return to dealer. Thank you Kentucky and Chicago. So easy to sell vehicles when they never see the dealership. It is great not to be the only person at a get together telling people that FORD IS AS GOOD AS ANYTHING ELSE as far as QUALITY. Keep it up, and the corner will turn!!!! ptsweeper
Ex-Ford employee with a Taurus and a Freestyle. I really like the Edge but need the extra seats. My last (and first) 11 cars have been Ford products.
