Ford-150
almost like what Cadillac is doing with there commercials with tikki barber and andy garcia, except those comeercials were more about them seles related to the Escalade
RichardJensen
Definitely too much like the Cadillac commercials. Would've been better to play off the AmEx commercials--esp. the Robert DeNiro one.
mettech
Support the disadvantage.... or buy a Lincoln.....? The commercial makes you feel like shit if you want to buy a car instead of donating your money Fire the advertising agent now.
ANTAUS
Oh great, more commercials about whack off fantasies... First one discusses poor areas devastated by Katrina, the 2nd one personal challenges because of a handicaped, both depressing senarios, yet discussing nothing at all about the vehicle itself. Just lovely... The only thing I came away was, "these cars suck so much, you can relax about leaving them in bad neighborhoods because no one will steal them"... And while typing this, I see a Lincoln Marksy and Markus commercial on CNN, discussing the accolades they have one. THAT I can relate to...give me the positives...If Ford had balls, it would pin it up line the Ford challenge against other luxury vehicles, but it hasn't gotten to that point yet. I'm just really over these "lifestyle-whack off fantasy" commercials... Obviously it's catered to a "oh wow, I wanna be seen and look like I have money" demographic...Probably plays during soap operas and Dr.Phil... TomServo92
They need a simple, powerful message like the new CTS commercials. "When you turn on your car, does it return the favor?" is a GREAT tagline.
LincolnFan
They need a simple, powerful message like the new CTS commercials. "When you turn on your car, does it return the favor?" is a GREAT tagline. Maybe they can use MKzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz? Or, "MKX, official vehicle of a MILF". The later is a powerful message.

Would've been better to play off the AmEx commercials--esp. the Robert DeNiro one. Thats the first thing I thought -- the Cadillac commercials. On another note though, the new 20" wheels looked good on the MKX. Edited October 15, 2007 by rmc523
