jpd80
I found it to be even handed, he also spoke about why he dislikes the normal Camry. Journalists like him are getting on board with more mainstream hybrids but it's also true that for the most part, driving a hybrid is also a state of mind - high moral ground fades rational costs. while this holds sway, hybrids will stay just out of reach financially for most people but I think that's what the environmentalists and oil barons want, people to feel a self loathing desire to do better. ANTAUS
I read that this morning as well, I thought he was having multiple orgasms while writing the article. he focused more on the vehicle and it's smoothness, and less on it's efficiency which would really should be the purpose of the article. RichardJensen
The "little 16 inch wheels"?? What the heck is this world coming through? We gonna start buying 24" wheels with a sprayed on rubber coating instead of a tire?

And just remember, if you have a small enough penis to qualify, you can always get these fender badges to ensure everyone knows the size of your rims. Seeing this quite a lot now in SoCal. You know, just to make sure folks know you roll a few inches ahead of average. Edited January 26, 2009 by the_spaniard
rmc523
Has he even driven a Fusion Hybrid?
twintornados
From the way it is reported, I would think not....it cracks me up that he scoffs at Fusion hybrids 41MPG, yet the Camry hybrid gets a "respectable 33MPG"...wonder what he thinks of Fusions' 23/34MPG for the 2.5L / six speed combo.... jobu37
He marveled at the Camry's quiet interior and the seemless shift from gas to electric propulsion. Two qualities that the Fusion were rated higher on in the Car and Driver comparison. So obviously he hasnt' driven the Fusion and since many other journalists have he is bitter about being left out.
