2005Explorer
I was just looking around the web for awhile today and I noticed something. Mazda sells very few B-series trucks, but don't you think they would sell a lot more??? I mean if you want a Ranger you can go down to your Mazda dealer and get the same thing, with slightly different styling for about the same price and you will get a 4 year 50,000 mile bumper to bumper warranty over the Ranger's 3 year 36,000 mile warranty. My Dad got a Ranger this summer and he did get a good buy with the Family Plan, but why don't more people buy the Mazda?

sullynd
Its a Ford. They want american truck buyers.Plus i think it looks better. I think the Ranger looks better too, it's also the dealer network... The Tribute has a better warranty but is outsold by the Mariner, and handily outsold by the Escape... Funny thing was when I was in hawaii Mazdas were EVERYWHERE... I saw more B series in two weeks than I had my entire life before...
bec5150
I bought my Ford because the "supersized" dealer round these parts was having a "fire sale" on the doggon things. Mine stickered for around 13,500 dollars but I gave $8450 plus tax for a final price of way under $9300 bucks. That was in 2002.
PolarBear
Because, for truck buyers, that Blue Oval still means a lot.
stegomon
well since they are the same thing....but if some one did it right...they could get a mazda b-4000 and just slap in some ranger headlights and still have the 4 year coverage
euro_zx5
well since they are the same thing....but if some one did it right...they could get a mazda b-4000 and just slap in some ranger headlights and still have the 4 year coverage But then you'd have to endure looking at that below-average steering wheel ... the Ranger has so many aspects that make it better imo. But regardless... it is in every mechanical way, the same.

stangster
For me it is a matter of sticking with what I know. My 97 Ranger has 122k miles on it and is going strong.
