Please use today’s Thursday A.M. Preview to manage final order bank adjustments for Fusion scheduling at 4PM Eastern Time. NEW ANNOUNCEMENT-Scheduling of the Fusion Titanium Hybrid has been approved. On Thursday, February 21, only 14 stock orders will be selected. Retail order scheduling is tentatively planned to begin Thursday, February 28. NEW ANNOUNCEMENT-Scheduling of retail orders for the Plug-In Fusion Energi will begin tomorrow, Thursday, February 21. Weekly volumes are limited. You get a VIN assigned when the order is scheduled to be built. So you get it very early in the process, prior to the vehicle even being built. rprobst Posted February 22, 2013 Share Posted February 22, 2013 My dealer just told me that they have not yet issued the OK-to-buy for the Energi, so no customer orders are being scheduled yet, only dealer stock. He said he bets my car doesn't get here until May, or maybe even June. Geez, what a ray of sunshine. I hope he's being over-pessimistic so the customer can be pleasantly surprised when the car comes in early. If it really was going to not be until June, I would look at switching to a 2014. Just got this Commodity & Constraint message from my dealer in repsonse to the information on the Forum about Fusion HyTi orders: FUSION – Commodities will vary by dealer On February 21 – Scheduling Unscheduled Allocation in Week 8 Until further notice, orders with Ginger Ale paint (JY) will not be selected for scheduling. Until further notice, Fusion Titanium Hybrid orders (P0R), retail or stock, will not be available for scheduling. Until the Okay to Buy has been achieved, retail Fusion Energi PHEV orders (P0P or P0S) will not be selected for scheduling. Please consider ordering the optional 18” Gloss Black Aluminum Wheel (64M) when ordering an SE with 205B. My car was built on 2/7/13 too and is still in Mexico waiting for a rail car, as of today at noon. No telling when they will be shipped. I suspect that they have been holding them until they could deliver a lot at one time (opening the flood gates). I would think that is going to happen at any moment. My Deep Blue has a build date of week of Mar 18. But if these start to move, this Black may be here way before mine. Black works for me too .
