RangerM
The truth about what? If your talking about the foreign official spying, then it's definitely Bush. Obama said you could keep your doctor/insurance; referring to a law he signed in public. Bush warned of weapons of mass destruction; referring to what every intelligence agency believed at the time. RangerM
I do believe that Obama knew before now that people would lose their coverage And yet, as recently as a little over a month ago (4 days before the website began!) he repeated the statement that people would keep their insurance if they wanted. Is America really a free nation when it can't be governed with the truth? Is this what Obama meant back in 2008 when he said America was to be fundamentally changed? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JCUpJDzyRnY Edited November 6, 2013 by RangerM

You think Obama started this or that the healthcare statement is the biggest lie our government has told us? You guys are a silly sometimes. Well I guess if its not the biggest lie ever told than its okay right? Only guess what, its a pretty big fuckin lie. When the President promises people that they won't lose their health insurance and they do, that's a pretty big fuckin lie. We aren't talking about misplacing a pair of socks. Health insurance is one of the most major concerns in the lives of everyone who can't afford to pay for medical expenses out of pocket, and that is just about 90% of the American public. So your effort to try and act like this is no big deal is full of shit. Just your latest effort to lie and shill for the liberal socialists in Washington. It's a huge deal and everyone with two brain cells to rub together knows it. But at least one good thing has come out of this. You have just admitted that the President lied to the American people. I know that hurts your little heart because he's your god but oh well. Edited November 6, 2013 by BlackHorse

Obama didn't change how America has been governed, your just mad that his policies aren't the ones you want so your going to suggest that he is making us less free when according to what you suggested we haven't been free in a long damn time. I do love that conservatives think lying about blowjobs and healthcare plans changing are worse than lying about the Patriot Act, warrantless wiretaps, rendition, WMD's, Pat Tillman, torture and all the other shit the Bush admin lied about. xr7g428
Langston, do you comprehend the meaning of what you have in the footer of your posts?"Straw spun from gold" describes making something worthless out of something of great value. I do have to agree that liberalism is doing a very effective job of this as our standard living continues to turn to straw. FiredMotorCompany
LOL. Insurance lies are so much worse than lies about terrorist's using planes, rendition, torture and WMD's. What a joke. Obamacare's troubles are the bubbling evidence of deeper problems. Akin to an iceberg. It's not the ice you see, it's the ice you can't see that will sink you. If Obama can't pull-off his signature program without such disastrous results, what give you any reason to be confident he can handle propping up the economy, restoring employment to pre-election levels, his promises to eliminate the revolving door of government employees returning as lobbyists........... You may think that Bush lied about WMD's, but being wrong isn't the same thing as a willful deception. I remember many in the media lamented Bush's inability/unwillingness to admit being wrong (about WMDs, etc). If Obama (or his administration) was wrong about the policies being implemented, he/they should say so, But, I have yet to hear anyone admit that. All they're saying is that people didn't hear them properly when they said they could keep their insurance. People may be fairly ambivalent about politics, but they don't like being lied to and then blamed (by Obama) for not knowing the truth. xr7g428
Now is this statement true? “If you like your health care plan, you’ll be able to keep your health care plan. Period. No one will take it away. No matter what.” Obama. This is a yes or no answer. (Langdad you can abstain, as the pain would be just too much for you.) Now is this statement true? "The British government has learned that Saddam Hussein recently sought significant quantities of uranium from Africa." State of the Union Address, Bush. Is this a yes or no answer? Good luck getting a straight answer from any of the Obama cheerleaders. As much as some people hated Bush it has to be beyond painful to admit their hero (Obama) is an outright liar or worse , totally inept. Obama promised 29 times that we could keep our plan. We have the video. And it's excusable. Because the Bush administration lied. Well, the Clinton administration lied prior to that, so it should be ok for Bush, and therefore Obama as well. How's that for accepting current behavior based on other's behaviors? Hitler murdered Jews. So, it's ok for Obama now. Not that far of a stretch of the premise.

chevys
So tonight 14 Senators (all D's) headed down to the white house to tell BHO he has to do something about Ocare since their proverbial asses are on the line next year. 13/14 were up for reelection. These same 14 all voted for the law mind you. Now they all of the sudden want to fix this disaster that they didnt read. Instead, all they are going to go home with is a piece of paper saying they tried because Prince Harry Reid has already said he is not bringing up their stuff for a vote to amend the law. The irony of all of this is that the shutdown was over BHO-care and now the D's have their chickens coming home to roost. Isnt it interesting how they have suddenly changed their tunes in the last month??
