2005Explorer
First it was the Chinese Jiangling Landwind SUV (old Rodeo ripoff) that got a Zero. http://paultan.org/archives/2005/10/07/jia...assenger-cabin/ and now for your viewing pleasure here is the Chery QQ :happy feet: http://paultan.org/archives/2006/02/18/chery-qq-crash-test/ I hope the United States will do something about this if they try and import these pieces of crap. I see how China is planning on controlling their population...just strap em into a Jiangling SUV or a Chery car!

RichardJensen
Sorry. I got distracted by the comments below the crash test.
ANTAUS
Wow, total death and devestation, mangled metal and plastic piercing through flesh and organs. They have a long way to go if they think they are going to peddle this crap in the U.S., and for the first initial buyers, my advice is "You asked for it". Hell if I were an auto insurance company, I wouldn't even cover this vehicle !
retro-man
Sorry. I got distracted by the comments below the crash test. I love the fact that you can see the Singapore dialect right in those posts. I did some projects there a while back, and I had forgotten about that lah. kevinb120
Imagine it in a real crash test, an offset against an F-150 moving in the other direction I'd feel safer on a motorcycle any day.
ebritt
I think if the QQ hit a pedestrian, the driver would still be dead while the destrian walks away with a limp.

06StangAwesomecar
Crash test dont mean anything, look at Kia/hundie, had worse crash test up until recent, doesnt stop cheap ass people from buying their underperforming cars. The cars suck, rules in china and the USA are different, if they bring them here the just have to pass. Even if they fail people will buy them, I guess you call it Variety. If no resale and bad crash test are your thing go for it. Natural selection.

tommyturbo
I'd have to be dead before I'd allow myself to ride in that crap

There must be a minimum crash test standard for cars to be sold here. Zero Stars, wow. Even the Smart Car did better and its no bigger than a golf cart. I know, Toyota and Honda have tailored their cars for years to ONLY pass the crash tests well and not spend a single dime per unit once they've met the target.
