akirby
Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. It looks better than the current one but I still don't see it selling in any kind of volume.
NickF1011
I prefer the understated look of the current grille.
TomServo92
I can't decide which is better: The pseudo-Mercedes current model or the pseudo-Audi new model....
calypsocoral
Hyundai's design department is kind of in its adolescent phase-- trying on different "looks" on the way to developing their own identity. This may take a while, but I think they'll eventually get it. Heck, Lexus has been around for more than 20 years and they have JUST NOW figured out something that works-- see the new sports coupe they just debuted. Their current grill design took a while for me to get used to, but it seems to be working better with each new model they release.
97svtgoin05gt
I think the new Lexus look is ugly, really ugly.

All-Or-Nothing
Looks good to me. Better than the last one which was also a good car. This should be even better.
RangerM
It strikes me as a current-model Toyota Avalon with a somewhat-Audi-somewhat-Chrysler 300 grill. (the 300 grill that's NOT an egg crate) Hyundai is getting better at what they do. Don't know anyone who owns a Genesis, but I do wonder how they hold up over time. I was suspect of my wife's Santa Fe's longevity when we got it; specifically with issues of wear. So far, the leather seats have held up well against three kids and given a good cleaning the interior could be made to look new. The only items that readily appear to have worn are the inner door handles.
jmac760
I also wonder how the Genesis will hold up over time. Wife's Audi is a great vehicle and my son has the tucson. We'll see how they hold up.
Anthony
I also wonder how the Genesis will hold up over time. Wife's Audi is a great vehicle and my son has the tucson. We'll see how they hold up. I have a daily driver '04 Sonata I bought new in '03. Never have an issue and has never been to the dealer outside of maintenance. Leather looks brand new still. Everyone has held up amazingly well and has been 100% reliable.
NickF1011
Most newer Hyundais I've been seem to hold up well. They do seem to have a common strange smell to the plastic though. It's not really offensive, but it's the same between almost every one I've been in lately.
