Ryanc3055
Do big dealerships get orders faster? I'm asking because the place I order from is on the smaller side and see were people are going ahead an ordering another truck from other dealers and just not worrying about the first one
cmk1981
I believe larger dealers do get more allocations

When I ordered, my Sales Manager advised how many SD orders were ahead of mine and when he figured they would be built. He speculated mine would be scheduled mid Nov, but since then non-availability of key F-450 parts have prevented mine getting scheduled. Ryanc3055
Mine is all so F450 but I have email telling me I have A build week of 11/15 no other emails after I thought Iv seen if you have a build week all your parts were allocated to you and not affected by the commodity shortages. Jp_norris
I feel like if I ordered at a big dealership I would have been at least scheduled by now.as I see lots and lots of similar builds being picked up quickly elsewhere. I ordered at a tiny dealer and my July 9 order is yet to be picked up. Only commodity restraint to my knowledge is the bed liner that is part of the black appearance package. akirby
COVP gives dealers incremental allocation for all COVP orders. So normally it wouldn’t hold up an order but if there are parts issues limiting builds it stands to reason larger dealers would get more of a limited supply than smaller dealers. Mirage Flatter
Our dealer is in a town of 9000 in NW Nebraska, and the only new car dealer in the county. We ordered our new truck on April 16, and it was delivered on August 11. By my observations, this was good as it got at the time. When I placed the order, the salesman told me they had an allocation of one 22 MY Super Duty, and that we got to use that allocation. I look at their website weekly, and as far as I can tell, our new truck is the only 22 MY vehicle they’ve received at this point. So, I feel like there was a lot of luck and timing involved, but I feel very lucky and blessed to have received our new truck as quickly as we did, and that working with a small dealer in a small town worked greatly in our favor. 6.7zack
I have an order with a smaller dealer and they definitely seem to be taking longer to get my truck scheduled even at a priority
txsd6.2
I placed my order via a smaller dealer in Texas on 11/1 - Priority code 19. I was scheduled on 11/18.
mikemdd
I also placed my order with a very small dealer and probably had the only 22 F250 Platinum order they had for a while. I was also Priority 19. From order to shipment was less than 30 days.
Chris E
Ordered 1st truck from large dealer got confirmed and VIN was assigned around 3 weeks later. After 5 months of pushed back dates I ordered a 2nd truck from a small rural dealer and received it 8 weeks later.
ThatGuy509
I went with the largest truck dealer in our region. Ordered on 8/20. I am now on my 5th build date and still no Window sticker. So my experience is that it really has more to do with your build and Ford parts than it does your dealership. Good Luck with the wait. flufdiddy
I ordered from Bill Fick ford and was told 10-12 weeks and its been well well over that.....so i dont know if larger dealers help you.
ScottK1
I think it makes no difference at all what size dealer it is. Mine was a large dealer and it took 9.5 months. It's not the dealer. It's Ford and it's suppliers. Stop looking for reasons, relax, expect it will take forever. Maybe it will be quick, but you should not expect it to be quick.
