  1. In-between my lucid dreaming evening, I found this on my FB feed posted at 6am.
  2. I wouldn't read too much into those specifics but rather focus on what they did. They pulled the windshield far forward. To me that speaks "Cab forward design that will allow bigger interior". IMO
  3. I do enjoy the button of the Mach-E because it pops out the door, but in a crash situation, you press the button, it doesn't pop out for x-y-z reasons...then in that situation, nothing to grab to...so the only other option would be smash the window, and get leverage to unwedge the door open. Or press other door buttons, then squeeze inside to see if I can open their side and unbelt them...hit the window enough and hope the person wasn't knocked unconscious and wake them up, look for a rock to smash thru it, I kick well but hopefully my foot wont keep going in and hit them in the head, and i'm not using my phone. Again, I only think like this because I helped someone in that type of a situation once.
  4. The reason the pull-type door handles became a thing was mainly for safety. In an emergency it's easier to pull the door open if someone is trapped, I know this helping someone get out of their vehicle after they hit a tree and took a few tries to pry it free. With the Tesla3 you wouldn't have much of a grip in a similar situation. Back in the 80's 90, the flap style was used because it was considered aerodynamic but soon after that early '00 the grab grip pull style became a thing.
  5. The poor guy was really convinced, the sales person was pretty "proactive" in the BS.... I left it alone, I was busy driving and couldn't focus on it for long.
  6. Sorry, it was 11:05am when I posted it, which tells me I probably just woke up. As I'm having coffee I read the news online.
  7. I see what they did there to the side mirrors, since Bronco found a solution to that...
  8. Generation after generation the Mustang has been the better seller mainly because the interior is more upright and manageable. My best friend's husband wanted a Camaro some years ago (Napoleon Complex at 5-01"), so we took him to the local auto show and I'm like "Here you have the opportunity to sit in one, get company, move around on it, make one with yourself"... lasted 3 minutes, he's like "I can't see over the hood" and shes like "Or reach the pedals for that matter" LOL He was looking for adjustable pedal buttons on the steering wheel and I'm like "Oh your so cute you think it's Ford"...He bought a Mustang GT, cause, of course, Napoleon hits every curb and drives like an old lady so my best friend and I would have to take the car out once a month and flog it to help it breathe better.
  9. Only feature I found interesting is the infotainment screen can be adjustable, cute feature....
  10. At her historic marker dedication ceremony on Sunday, a few people highlighted some facts about her, I learned she was "Delilah" On "Samson and Delilah" which debuted in 1949. A few shared she was pretty much a recluse and towards the very end of her life she was miserable. Behind closed doors, I've heard from some people throughout the years that in the 90s she was arrested at Eckerd Drugs store for shoplifting (essentially she died almost broke, having invented all she did). Her marker was installed at Red Bug Lake Park, which was about 500 ft from the last residence she lived in. I believe they said she was buried in Austria.
  11. I followed the link hoping to see the specific crash, but sadly none is present. I always appreciate the death and devastation, the carnival of carnage seen on their videos.
  12. I do remember there was a factory-warranted boost package/kit available for the Rangers 2.3L made available over a year ago. Could be another option. Ford Performance
  13. Ironically, this weekend, I'll be at a historical marker dedication for Hedy Lamarr. She died in my area of Central Florida (Seminole County). She invented what we now know as Bluetooth. Incredibly smart and beautiful woman, sadly she died broke. Go figure...
  14. Autoblog.com Ford responding with production increases....
  15. I have this very very small USB thumb drive, on My MKZ its on what would be the cigarette alcove, which has a lid so it had to be very small. It holds my 129 Gigs of music, all in file folders. Never used the CD player, and rarely i'll use Iheart, or Pandora, maybe on a long drive where I just want to be surprised....
