  1. 1999 Ford Mustang 3.8 V6 with Automatic Transmission 135,284 miles I Purchased this Mustang brand new back in March of 1999 with 8 miles on the odometer and have had no major problems with it. Only modifications are a K&N filter, 17 inch wheels from a 2001 Bullitt Mustang and a 2001 Mustang GT rear spoiler. Its not powerful or fast but it has been an excellent daily driver and occasional road trip car that has never let me down. I still drive it everyday and still Love it!!

  4. I have a 2002 Lincoln LS V8 that i absolutely love...picked it up 6 months ago w/ 109,000 miles and has been trouble free. I had different people tell me I was in over my head in buying this car as every single one of them said these Lincolns are very trouble prone. (none of them own an LS or any other Ford for that matter) I always wanted one of these since they came out in 2000 but it had just bought a new Mustang in March of 1999 (which has also been trouble free all of its 126,00 miles). I know its only been 6 months but so far they are all wrong. Overall a great car that many people (especially here in So Cal) dont know about which means I dont see myself coming and going on the road like your typical Toyota owner. Let's put it this way... a co-worker of mine saw my car and asked what brand of car it was. I said ''it's a Lincoln". She said '' oh.. they're still around?".....sad huh?
  5. i couldn't agree more...im not into any imports but that car had my eyes trapped the first time i saw it....As much of a Ford fan that i am i wouldnt mind one of those
  6. Why not just call the TAURUS GT?...you know, like MUSTANG GT?
  7. My favorites so far are these:
  8. I remember seeing those ads as a kid back in the 80's and thinking they were so cool.....it made me think the the guy who created the Bigfoot monster truck chose a Ford because they were the strongest trucks out there. Still seeing so many 70's & 80's Ford trucks on the road makes me believe I was right. They would rather crush an F-150 as well and say its weak because it couldn't stand the bulldozer's weight and abuse
  9. Years from now we will not see any Tundras that will have lasted as long as Billy Bob's Ford truck.....A REAL TRUCK!!! YES!! and it happened alot sooner than I ever thought it would.
  10. I better not see one of these stupid ads destroying a Mustang! So far I have these Fords destroyed in these BS ads: Ford Explorer Ford Ranger (actually a Mazda B series...same truck though...we know who the ad was really targeting) ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!! The GM's seem all seem to be Oldmobiles I wonder why Ford never made commercials for their trucks using ad footage of the Tundra Catapult ad....all the worker's trucks in the background were Fords of different model years!
  11. I could't have said that better myself!
  12. I have been wanting to do exactly that same thing with a Camry or Corolla (or any Toyota for that fact) ever since I saw them destroy that rented Ford Contour in the 1st Jackass movie.
  13. EXACTLY!!! Its a Freakin' Corolla.....I'm sure all the zombies who buy or lease one certainly dont care so why should any of us who like REAL cars?
  14. Its time for anyone here who actually has a Motor Trend Subscription to cancel it....Starting NOW! No real Ford Fan (or fan of any other domestics) would have a subcription to begin with.
  15. :boring: Beautiful!!! I'll bet those pictures don't do it any justice.
  16. So true So true.....Lexus has that "self parking" feature so sooner or later they will have a "no soul or passion for driving" feature....oh wait...they already do and its built into every Toyota Motor Corp. model.....Seriously those cars are so boring to drive they might as well drive themselves and remove any human interaction from the picture.
  17. Which is also why the Volkswagen Phaeton failed....I'm almost positive if it was given an Audi badge it would have sold. Lexus is able to pull that one off by giving some Camrys a Lexus badge in front and back.
  18. The Lincoln LS was unlike anything else in the Ford lineup. Unfortunately Ford "taurused" it. At least I'm happy to see that these cars still have following among young people. http://sads.myspace.com//Modules/Search/Pa...ncoln+ls+owners Taurused = Let it rot away with no major updates/improvements and little to no marketing
  19. I agree. It seems to me that Ford wants to repeat its reliance on Crossovers for profits the same way they relied on the SUV back in the 90's...somethings dont change i guess...
  20. I love Ford but it really seems that with the way their vehicles lose value so quickly, its not exactly the smartest thing to buy one new. I'd like to know what you all believe are the reasons for Ford's resale values sinking like quicksand.
  21. Does it really matter how many posts I have entered? Get a life.
  22. I knew had seen the Nissan Armada's side profile on an old American wagon...I knew it didn't imagine it Junk.bmp
  23. That woman is driving another Toyota because like most Toyota owners, she is in complete denial about how crappy Toyotas really are. Toyota owners can have their cars almost kill them and yet they will make up excuses forgiving Toyota and go buy another. Now let a Ford simply have a hard plastic interior and they think its the worst piece of crap vehicle out there. Maybe thats why they like the "Soft Touch" feel of Toyota interiors. They need it to be soft for when they get tossed around the Toyota as it flips and rolls down the highway.
  24. To quote Nelson Muntz from "The Simpsons"- HA HA!!
