  1. don't often find myself agreeing with Blackhorse but ..........that was awful
  2. I wonder if something hot got put down on the seat during manufacture causing the thread to be damaged, there is pattern to fraying thread.
  3. The question I have looking at the sales chart is there a certain component supply that limits sales to ~6000 units per month, and if so , is it more profitable to sell Fusions then C maxs, hence the lack of advertising support for the C max?
  4. I believe that the 2014 Transit Connect will be available in a CNG/LP version. Low emissions for the city environment. I would be interested in seeing a comparison in cost per mile and emissions between a hybrid and the CNC/LG vehicles http://www.greencarcongress.com/2013/09/20130924-ford.html
  5. It could be that the people who are not Prius cult members prefer sedans.
  6. the freestyle was a 500 wagon and the Montego was 500 with different badges and goo jaws, basically one car. That is splitting hairs.
  7. I am not an engineer but I would think with the mandate for greater fuel economy windshields on trucks will be getting less vertical for better aerodynamics. It seems funny that in Europe which has all those small sleek cars, their trucks are for the most part big square blocks on wheels.
  8. See how GM is following suite http://www.reuters.com/article/2014/02/19/gm-pickup-idUSL3N0LO0K720140219?type=companyNews&feedType=RSS
  9. Staples Headquarters in Framingham MA has one, I walk by it daily
  10. And diesel is better because you can give more money per gallon to the oil companies, especially in the winter when home heating oil eats into supply. When I looked at the pump this week, the cost of diesel was almost a dollar more per gallon here in the greater Boston area. You would need to get 25% better fuel economy just the match the miles per dollar, that is not even taking into account the additional up front cost for that engine. Give it break
  11. In this picture from the show the front end looks restrained, almost elegant, if such a term can be used for a truck of this size. Compare this to the blingtastic caddy
  12. Good point, when looking at the picture no comaprison to the Escape came to mind
  13. http://www.motorauthority.com/news/1088965_secret-feature-on-2015-ford-mustang-will-be-an-oem-first From back in December 2013, nothing from Detroit that I can see
  14. I thought there would be an additional mustang surprise not mentioned in the earlier reveal. Anyone hear anything of it? This was a hot topic short time ago.
  15. I think that Ford has benefited from the anti-Japanese sentiment growing in China. Time will tell if the robust growth continues.
  16. They do have presence, they really stick out on the road, even in a sea of pick ups like here in the US.
  17. I know this was issue upon release, I have not heard much about it lately
  18. Do we know if tow package will be available?
  19. Where is is Jelly to give us his (UK) perspective? I would think that he would first in line for his very own V8 RWD RHD Old school Mustang
  20. Hope they show a convertable as well tommorrow, can't seem to imagine how this will look in that body style.
  21. Why couldn't they ship the engines from England? Where were the diesels found in Chryslers sold in the EU products sourced from? The engine in the 300 according to Wikipedia is 3.0 MD diesel and the voyager a 2.4 L from VM Motori. Not even in thier own diesel engines. For years Explorers had the Cologne 4.0 V6, somehow that made sense
  22. http://www.autoblog.com/2013/11/07/next-ford-edge-concept-la-auto-show-debut/ it is going global, but we knew that
  23. They are not in the same catagory and cetainly not the same market demographic. Some looking at a base mustang is would not be interested in a hot hatch. The ST package would provide a lot more flash than the base Mustang, no offense to the Mustang, but we are talking base here
  24. In my eye I see more similarities to the Audi Q5 then Escape, but that's just my opinion, (which like butt-holes, everyone has).
