    You have to look further down the road. What will the next F-150 be capable of? Our country needs a clear energy policy. We have natural gas reserves that are equal to 3 times the Saudi oil reserves. CNG could cure our energy dependence on foreign sources. So far CNG is most efficient with spark ignition. Right now there are a lot of unanswered questions.

    Henry Ford ran his first race in 1901. He used racing to help found the Ford Motor Co in 1903. Racing is a part of the Ford family heritage. No other car company has this history, 109 years of it. If you don't bleed Ford blue you wouldn't understand.

    Dearborn did not consider the 6.2 for any passenger car. FOA was told to use the Coyote. FOA does not have that kind of autonomy. No more fiefdoms. The Oz tail don't wag the Dearborn dog. More changes are coming. Ford needs more market in Oz.

    Interesting why Oz passed on 450 N/A SAE. What do you think of the supercharged Coyote config and cals Dearborn has given Oz? The ole Falcon romps around Dearborn damn well. Hope everyone in Oz likes our little 5.0.

    I sent this to Brain Wolfe. He'll get a good laugh about your drag racing comment. Not many opportunities for the average Mustang owner to do some laps around a road course. Drag facilities are everywhere. BTW the IRS version is still slower in a straight line.

    The focus at Ford is on building mainstream cars, CUV's, SUV's and trucks. That's pretty obvious. RWD cars, performance or personal luxury are secondary. However they will still exist and new models will come. These are the facts.

    GRWD had it's beginnings in 2001. Respectfully you are incorrect.

    The main reason GRWD was halted was the sell off and break up of PAG. AM, JLR, Lincoln, & Taurus among others were to share GRWD. Falcon product cycle was not the lone reason.

    If you ever get a chance to drive a 1971 Ford Custom 300 PI take it. It's powered by a 429 Cobra Jet. I used to own a low milage unit. 140 MPH speedo and it will do every bit of it and 14.9 in the 1/4 just in low and second gear, no bull. It will blow the doors of any other PI especially a Mopar. BOF garbage?

    THE 6.2 DOES NOT HAVE CANTED VALVES. OHC ENGINES CANNOT BE CONFIGURED WITH SIDE CANT LIKE A PUSHROD ENGINE. WHAT PART OF MY PREVIOUS STATEMENT DO YOU NOT UNDERSTAND?

    It's more like the old Cologne & Lima I-4. No Cleveland attributes. Can't side cant the valves on an OHC config. DOHC is a ball buster!
