  1. http://www.carscoops.com/2016/12/2017-detroit-auto-shows-z-debut-guide.html I question the reliability but F-150 makes sense. Showing the Mustang and a GT500? IDK
  2. Thanks fuzzy for the update, try not to get in trouble for it
  3. Somehow, that's not too surprising considering the direction they are going. Isn't there still plans to expand current infrastructure in Mexico?
  4. Congratulations on your new Continental!

  6. Are you referring to the overall market in general declining? I can see that, but I don't know where Ford gets their information on this segment increasing. If it's worldwide then spending less money for an MCE for a world product makes sense.
  7. If anything, I thought Bronco and Ranger would be at the smallest Escape 'C' segment. I can't see them in the 'B' segment IMO.
  8. http://driving.ca/honda/hr-v/reviews/road-test/comparison-2016-honda-hr-v-vs-2016-mazda-cx-3 Here's a pretty good article of the competition. As a former B-Segment owner, the Ecosport is taller, larger and bigger but it's still a subcompact anyway you slice it. I have my personal likes/dislikes of it but I won't go into that. I was hoping it'd be ready this summer but it is what it is.
  9. He is the keynote speaker. I also hear it would be announced tonight probably on snapchat.
  10. http://indianautosblog.com/2016/11/2017-ford-ecosport-reveal-face-new-spyshots-247659 http://indianautosblog.com/2016/11/ford-ecosport-2017-not-ready-on-time-247475 The front indicates a 2017 Escape, 2016 Edge look. I'm looking and guessing by the spy shots not the renderings.
  11. I saw the CX-3 competitor close up recently, it's not bad. I feel this Ecosport should meet or exceed that.
  12. My 2 cents: I'm not a fan of the name because it makes it sound too big and excessive. The exterior is IMO typical VW: Conservative and plain but somewhat handsome. I am worried the size might be too much. Interior: The word I'm looking for is Spartan. If it's like the Tiguan my friends have it has the hard durable plastics and the soft touch plastics in the right places where it counts but not much more. Will it work? At least it isn't a Cry-Co minivan in disguise.
  13. I was hoping for something else than Expedition at NAIAS but it makes sense.
  14. Look I'm in the 'C' market and moving up to a C/D just because it's bigger holds no water for me. I would like to see more attention to this market but it is clear that F-Series and Mustangs take priority.
  15. MKC is slightly bigger than the Escape. That said, a 'C' is a 'C' or else it's be a 'C/D'.
  16. I think the taller wagon and seating position is a prime driver of CUV's. I also call the Civic a 'Compact' with tongue firmly in cheek after how big it is now.
  17. Mine is okay if you play with the settings and IMO is better than previous systems. I'm glad Ford is moving on to bigger and better things. Question: Is THX still going to be available or is it moving on as well? I thought a good COA would be making Sony/THX standard on Ford/Lincoln. I guess that is not the case. Just my 2 cents.
  18. Thanks for taking the time to compose this thorough review RMC. I really enjoyed it and glad you made the most of what you had.
  19. So call a booty call night or my favorite: "Hit it and Quit it" night
