  1. Then all you can do is a post dpf delete which nets you no gains or increase in exhaust note. It would be all for "looks".
  2. So they said that orders are now over 200,000. https://www.yahoo.com/finance/news/tesla-surging-122600305.html
  3. Post Removed - I was incorrect on the original post.
  4. On my phone so can't upload. Use link http://www.fleet.ford.com/edms/order-guides/?geography=NATL&brand=Ford&model=Explorer
  5. Yes you can, it is called "Dark Car" and need it enabled in IDS. When you open the doors, the interior lights, puddle lamps and parking lights will not illuminate. This is standard on the Police Interceptor vehicles and is just a setting change for civilian models.
  6. Audi A4 TDI plans scrapped for the US HAHA... ya I call complete BS on that
  7. Volkswagen (VLKAY) Stock Closes Down, Faces $3.61 Billion Lawsuit in Germany
  8. And things look like they may be getting worse... http://www.businessinsider.com/r-ex-employee-sues-vw-in-us-over-data-deletion-german-media-reports-2016-3
  9. Since you referenced the Explorer, there is a very lengthy thread (24 pages, 477 posts) on paint bubbling issues on the hood of them (2011-2015). It is all the same, bubbles underneath where the rubber gasket is and works its way to the lip and curls up and starts peeling off the front of the hood. Only fix is for Ford to replace the hood and repaint because it is contaminated. https://www.explorerforum.com/forums/showthread.php?t=326943 Can't speak about the new F150.
  10. You are right... Just googled it and found pics/videos of both in that color.
  11. Comparing 2016 colors on the build/price, it looks like both Kona and Two Good to Be Blue are gone completely for the 2017 lineup. Looks like Blue Jeans is going to be the only Blue available. Bronze Fire is discontinued which I am assuming Canyon Ridge is replacing it (same with the Explorer). Also seems Electric Spice is discontinued as well. Although it is only for the Explorer, I'm really interested in seeing the Smoked Quart Metallic. I think this will look incredible on an Explorer Sport.
  12. 6.2 averages about 14-15 mpg tops when cruising on Highway and single digits when towing a good size load. If anyone says otherwIse, they are full of it unless it is a 2wd single cab. 6.7s get about 17-18 mpg , 20mpg deleted and about 11-12 mpg towing heavy. A 6.2 is not more efficient then a 6.7.
  13. 3 new colors up top, 3 discontinued colors.
  14. Not from 2 different contacts within Ford. They said 2019 with a possibility of 2020. 2019 puts it at 8 years which is pretty much what Ford tries to do. With the way the sales are going, no need to cut short the cycle.
  15. My first thought when watching the clip above is..... "Why is GM afraid to put a Platinum in the commercial (they used an XLT) against their High Country in the ad". I'm surprised no one mentioned that already.. lol.. is that what it takes to make GM look good, take the 2nd of the lowest trim against their highest trim??
  16. Were you hand calculating or only going off the display? I see about 17mpg with regen.. if I can go without a regen, I can get between 20 and 21mpg but that regen always tanks my fuel mileage and still net a 17-18mpg average. Towing 13,000lbs I get between 11.1 and 11.5mpg all hand calculated. Just bought a tuner for it that I'll be loading tomorrow. Everything that I've read (experiences from owner with this particular one) is that the regens have gone from every 350 or so miles to 500-600. This should net some really good fuel mileage gains since one is going anywhere from 50-75% further distance per regen.
  17. Not sure yet. I know there is a catalog for it that hasn't been released yet. I've seen the front cover in it and it shows the different wheel bases which are different then the 16MYs. They may wait till close to order banks opening which that has not been released yet.
  18. Well that doesn't make sense though if they are new nameplates. That would only leave the EcoSport and Aviator. And I don't know if I could call the Aviator a new name plate as it has been used before (of course they could rename it something new). That's why it was throwing me off on what the 4 could be.
  19. Was a little surprised by this being "new name plates". So what are they? Bronco (is this considered a "new name plate" being it's been used in the past? The Ranger isn't a SUV.. As far as Lincoln goes, Aviator??
