  1. This guy seemed nice though. He kept saying "I don't want to sell down the product, but theres not much difference between the MKX and Edge", which I know is and isn't true.
  2. I think it is getting a 6-speed next year (along w/ the new engine), but I don't know for sure.
  3. So EcoBoost is the new name for the former TwinForce. Sounds kinda stupid to me, but I guess it's named logically and gets the point across that it's eco-friendly and more fuel efficient while 'boosting' the engine w/ more performance.
  4. Also, an article came out recently that said Flex will have the EcoBoost (TwinForce) 3.5L available w/ 340 hp.
  5. I haven't seen any spy shots of the new MKZ yet. Good luck with your decision.
  6. Ah ha! So the Ford's concept will be the Explorer. Interesting... Thanks for the link.
  7. Is it possible that that will be the debut ad? It seemed very much like something they would use as an ad, at least to me.
  8. It's been confirmed that it'll have 340-hp? I didn't know that. Where have I been? Those are pretty good numbers. I wonder what type of fuel economy numbers it will produce?
  9. With trucks, I think they're able to. Does that mean they should solely rely on that? NO, absolutely not, and I don't believe they are or will.
  10. Man, TATA is buying up everything it seems, aren't they. A city car does make a lot of sense. I'd think if the engine worked the same way as a normal combustion engine, that an air compressed-powered SUV would be possible. However, that is just an uneducated guess, since I know nothing about this concept (except for what was on the video, of course).
  11. Sorry, I wasn't alive then, LOL. That would be a funny ad though.
  12. I agree, not for a while, but it's possible.
  13. As I said in another thread (sorry, didn't realize you're new), I believe F-150 sales account for 60% of F-series numbers, I could be wrong though. The 09 model is bringing an improved 5.4L (sounding like around 325-hp) connected to a 6-speed transmission on all models. Besides, it's still the most capable truck in it's class even with these 'shortcomings,' if you can call them that. The improvements will likely make it more capable as well. Welcome to BOF! I hope you enjoy your time here.
  14. How many times do I have to say it? It's only a testing mule, just like what Ford did w/ Flex.
  15. Except for the stretch in the B-pillar.
  16. I think he means the OTHER, older Zephyr.
  17. From what insiders say, it WILL be as different as Taurus/MKS, remember this IS a test mule.
  18. That's a good picture of the MKS. I think it should sell well for Lincoln. It's a great looking vehicle, IMO.
  19. Toyota took care of that one w/ it's A-BAT concept:
  20. I hope you're joking? This is just a testing mule, just like Flex was tested on a stretched Freestyle. Notice the extra metal in the B-pillar?
