I agree w/ you about the Taurus numbers.
CV is now fleet only, and I'd assume GM customers are slowly dropping off b/c of customer age, etc. New customers aren't really going to buy them cuz they're old looking. With no significant upgrades/refreshes, body changes, anything, what could you expect from the Panthers? With that said, I believe Ford could use an Interceptor (and MKR) type vehicle at the top of the lineup, but I don't think it should be a priority at this point (except maybe for Lincoln, but MKS will work for now). Ford needs to continue to replace and refresh it's current lineup and make it the best it can be w/ class leading, not class equal products. Once it does that, IMO it could then work on more niche segments like a large RWD V8 powered sedan.
