  1. you got me mixed up with someone that spends much time in their office I am rearly in mine
  2. Read the PM i sent you about watching your truck being built, my contact info is there.
  3. Christmas Eve day has been considered a holiday for the 15 years ive been with the company. To the OP yes what Damage said.
  4. Its a 12-9 pay stub but if you look when it says it will be deposited it says 12-7-12, Friday.
  5. The same was said about Dearborn in 2004 yet we still cannot build all versions of the F-150, I will believe it when I see it.
  6. I do not know what plant you are currently at, but it may be that Labor mistakenly has the wrong RTBU plant code for you. This has happened multiple times at DTP, you will need to contact your sourcing cordinator and file an appeal if you feel you have the wrong RBTU plant code. This has happened for 4 members I know of off hand and the UAW appealed and fixed this for each one.
  7. I voted yes for several reasons; Entry level got a raise- they are our future get them up to traditional wage and benefits asap Yes the profit sharing is capped at 12k- tell me the last time Ford hit 12 billion for north American profits--damagedone is wrong, follow twincam harley's page references Check the tab next to your pay stub online Volume 1 is there and the other 5 Volumes should be there soon, thats right it has taken so long because there is now 6 Volumes instead of 5 After the new year FRAP yes not AAI but Flat Rock Assembly Plant will be getting insourced work from Mexico, please tell me the last time we have insourced work from a cheaper labor country....I am sure you cant because it has never happened before.
  8. Leeches thats what workers in a unoin shop are, that do not belong to the unoin but will allow the uinions to set their wages and benefits. Example http://www.americanrightsatwork.org/labor-day-list/2005-companies/costco-wholesale-corporation.html The problem is not the Union, the problem is the lack of involvment with the union members who are the power behind any union.
  9. The UAW's Official position on prop 6 is" no endorsment" eitherway http://www.uaw.org/michigan , this is once again Nolan Finley trying to take a stab at the UAW and organized labor period. With all of his opinions he has shown a clear disregard for the working class, this article is his most recent example.
  10. I was thnking the same thing, at the plant level there have been super days (added production days) not to mention the second shift added back to KCAP and in the plants the word is we are not gaining market share for the F-150 simply because we are at max compacity. Might just all be talk about the market share thing, however the production numbers do not lie. Just to bad we will not find out for sure since the report out all F series and not by the individual lines.
  11. Only thing I can think of here is what we called Spray Brazeing basically instead of having a seam on the roof line that meets the body side, the roof would only be spot welded in the DOP. The roof would overlap the C-pillar were it would get wire welded and ground down and then we would spray brazy the A-surface joint on the C-pillar and grind it down flush. This process was used on the Continental as well as the LS, however the LS joint was huge compareed the Continental joint. Simply look at a dark colored LS on the C-pillar and you can see some waveyness as a result of such a big joint. Sorry if this has been answered already I did not have the energy to go thru all 3 pages.
  12. If you are not getting any answers from the Local the next step would be to go to Region 1A and inquire there. But I would make sure you have checked with the Local President at 900 first before going to the Region, sometimes honest mistakes happen and can be corrected without going higher up the chain.
  13. Calm down bro, just having some fun. Simple what i left in the quote I already posted on page one, no I did not add Michigan Law. But again was all in good fun relax and come have a beer with me
  14. Welcome to page one of this topic bro
  15. Fair enough I can see were that is a little misleading
  16. If getting new paint ovens doesnt count in some way shape or form as revamped I do not know what does. re·vamp    /v. riˈvæmp; n. ˈriˌvæmp/ Show Spelled[v. ree-vamp; n. ree-vamp] Show IPA verb (used with object) 1. to renovate, redo, or revise: We've decided to revamp the entire show. Ooops I gues that would count as revamped, and yes I know they are getting new ovens for a fact.
  17. Article 10 section 6a is the lunch langugae Volume 1 page 139.
  18. Starts this coming Monday and ends on the 9th It does not matter what Nick wants contractually they can force it for up to 4 weeks. Just read the language in our contract as he stated in the letter passed out Appendix H 9(a), or easier yet page 154 of Volume 1, has not changed from the 2007 contract so not having a new contract book yet can not be used as a valid excuse not to read for yourself.
  19. I have worked C-crew since it started at DTP and while its best for my family time with my seniority, I would prefer a traditional midnight shift and make up any production needs on the weekends. AWS's at least a 3 crew system makes it almost impossible to schedule overtime for the weekend shift in production.
  20. I agree that paying something on the Equity of Sacrafice grievance would have been a good show, but lets not kid ourselves. Write a grievance based on contractual language; That grievance was wrote on the basic understanding outlined in the letter of understanding to King from Hinrichs" Equity of Understanding" page 79C of the new agreement(deleted with the ratification of the 2011 CBA). That letter also references another 2009 modification letter of understanding titled "Executive Compensation and Benefits Letter" to King from Dirksen (page 44U in the unpublished letters of understanding that was also removed with the ratification of the 2011 CBA). The point I am trying to make is do not write a grievance based on a vauge letter of understanding that also has a letter that goes along with it, that clearly spells out that the merit increases and the matching 401k in the equity language only is specific for the year 2009. Not that I like it but I see why the arbitrator ruled the way he/she did, the grievance was based on assumptions when the letters used as evidence on our side spelled out exactly how long those losses that salaried took and could be back after the year they were held liable for. If nothing else was learned from the EoS grievance it should be this; as good a relationship as the UAW and Ford Motor Company have over the years the bottom line is Ford is a global buisness, never make assumptions and never assume that the company will just give out something they are not contractually bound too.
