  1. How many phychiatrists does it take to change a light bulb? Only one.........................but the light bulb has got to want to change.
  2. Only if we want to reduce unemployment levels.
  3. Cha-ching!!!!!! Cramer says 17, what's he got against us?
  4. Probably an old cop. Senior citizen cop. Grandpa Ponch. Grandpa Starski. Grandpa One Adam 12.
  5. Guess we better find out how many senior citizens were involved before we can believe these statistics. Did anyone decide at what age does senior citizen kick-in? Wouldn't you just love to see Toyota corporate lawyers take on grandma in court?
  6. OK, lets try it your way. At what age should we start taking these claims seriously? How about 60. Maybe 70? If anybody gets killed that is 70 or younger, lets take them seriously. Anybody over 70 gets killed, not so much Would those age groups be alright with you? If not, what ages might you suggest?
  7. I sure hope toyota has alot of teams of technitions. Might need more spokesmen also.
  8. Reminds you of your home cookin doesn't it. I'll keep it right in your face for ya, now that I know you like it so much! I think it's cute how you and pigfish are holding hands, now go fuck urselfs.
  9. Hey shit-head, I found something that reminded me of you....... :fan:
  10. Listen 'Shit For Brains', I think it was a mistake to vote against job guarantees verses striking for your stinking dollar an hour. Mind you SFB, you still would have maintained right to strike for anything else. Health and safety? Go on strike. Unfair labor practice? Go on strike. Solve those problems and give the dollar up, and we'll settle. Answer this SFB, how do you feel about the 900 uaw families who will be out of work at AAI this summer when they go down to one shift? How about the 1300 jobs left there that are in jeopardy because everyone knows running an assembly plant on one shift ain't gonna last long. How about it? What about those jobs? You turned down work guarantees over there. Now you can still strike for your stinking dollar, but what about those 2000 UAW families that will lose their jobs? Just their tuff luck? Go on strike in 2011, get your dollar. Enjoy it. Just because it cost hundreds if not thousands of UAW jobs. What, as long as it's not your job, so what?
  11. My understanding of the article is that this plant is tecnically not a GM plant. "The workers aren't part of the UAW -- yet -- because the plant is new and operated under a new GM subsidiary, GM officials said" Therefore the 'new GM subsidary' isn't even a UAW shop. So anytime GM wants to open new business, they will classify it a subsidary plant and not part of GM so as to avoid full wage UAW benefits. That's the real BS here.
  12. 40,000 hourly employees at Ford. 0 is currently the number of 2nd tier employees. 20% (cap) of 40,000 is 8,000. Ford would have to hire over 8,000 new employees before 2015 to implement unlimited cap. In what REALITY do you see that happening?
  13. I don't believe in a double-dip. I believe in a two to three year improving business cycle. That said, when some ask when will we know the ression is over, ( in real life terms) I some what jokingly answer we'll know when gas hits 4.00/gal again. Thus stifling the improving business cycle. What a contradiction? To the future I see Ford launching a hot seller in a market that Ford doesn't compete in at the moment. The Fiesta. To the future the new Focus is going to be special. Look-out Corolla. What timing! Future: eco-boost 4 and 6cyl across all models lines. Hybrids with the best perfomance and milage. Ford bringing the battery and trans work in-house. If the future is 4.00/gal, Ford will be well placed not only survive, but thrive in that environment.
  14. Which should equate to a monster 1st quarter financial result!! My wild guess, 2.5-3bil profit excluding..............
  15. More ridiculous proposition No 234 Turn the front and rear seats around and put the steering wheel in the back-seat facing over the trunk! ( Saw Red Green do that in an episode up at the Possom Lodge)
  16. This is hardly news anymore. Just another out of control yota blasting down, across or thu our highways! However, I find yota's dedication and ingenuity to fixing this problem refreshing: "Marraccini said the floor mat has been pretty much ruled out as a cause. The 2005 car appears to have had corrective action taken, Marraccini said. The floor mat was tied to the seat base with plastic ties." WTF!!!!
  17. I enjoyed reading the comments.
  18. Yota will use a huge financial war-chest to debunk critics or others with a different engineering take on their problems. And if that isn't enough, they'll just offer big rebates. http://www.detnews.com/article/20100309/OPINION03/3090347/Toyota-flexes-its-muscles-to-defend-reputation
  19. This whole ( yota) story will have a tragic ending http://www.cnbc.com/id/35778520/site/14081545?__source=yahoo%7Cheadline%7Cquote%7Ctext%7C&par=yahoo
