  1. The 6th gen Taurus hid it pretty well probably because of the low roofline and slim side glass. Also ground clearance appears a lot lower. Crown looks jacked up in comparison, but I agree. 5th gen Taurus/Five Hundred look really tall but probably because of the huge side glass. It was a large sedan either way but the illusion of how they style it does make a huge difference on how they appear to the eye. I do wish Ford still offered at least 1 sedan in the lineup. Leaving those markets just seems like giving up to me. I know sedan sales aren't what they used to be but if they can still make a Mondeo in other markets it seems like making a Fusion still for our market would help offset the cost of the platform and the model itself. Plus, it would give the opportunity of Lincoln still having a sedan in the lineup which to me seems sacrilegious to not have at least 1 considering the brands history. But I get it Ford is a business and they only want to sell stuff that makes huge profits anything less isn't worth their time.
  2. I flash at them when ever I see it, one night I was behind a Kia with its lights off at night and I kept flashing at them eventually we got to a light I rolled down my window and it was a young girl with her mom and her mom started screaming at me saying "WHATS YOUR PROBLEM!" I calmly said "You are driving with your lights off!" to which the mom responded with "OH OH OH I AM SO SORRY!" and they flipped their lights on. 🙄
  3. I saw that the other day in the Tampa area, the other thing I see a ton of here is people driving around with their lights off at night. They are new cars too so no excuse.
  4. I am thinking a huge light bar across the back like the Millennium Falcons engines lol My friend used to say the back of my MKZ reminded him of the Millennium Falcon
  5. I feel like the rest of the Tesla lineup is fine but the CT is really something out of left field. I can't imagine it being a strong seller, maybe first year only due to excitement but after that I feel like sales will crash pretty hard after people realize it sucks at being a truck.
  6. It would be a shame if they did give up on CD6. I find it hard to believe they can't build anything else off CD6. Is CD6 not flexible at all? C2 is a step in the right direction they have a bunch of models built off of it currently. CD6 only has the Explorer and Aviator currently. S650 only has the Mustang After that they have Truck and Van platforms.
  7. Yea but it's not really a sedan it's like a crossover sedan. It's very strange. I saw one on the dealer lot when I was helping my friend search for a new car. They are pretty tall especially when you compare it to the Avalon it replaced.
  8. Interior looks good. Still not a fan of the exterior styling.
  9. I would add 3rd row heated seats too. BMW has that in the X7 IIRC.
  10. Probably an illusion due to the black trim over the wheel well. I imagine that piece opens with the door.
  11. That's faster than any gas Mustang ever made isn't it?
  12. I saw my first one on the road the other day. They are hideous in person even more so than seeing in pictures. I can't see how they are very practical as a truck due to the weird shape.
  13. A friend of mine has an F150 with the 2.7 and loves it. I had a 2.7 F150 rental a while back and it moved pretty well.
  14. It's irritating, to me anyway, that they aren't building the Nautilus at Oakville and instead importing it from China and now Oakville is idled till 2027. I know it would need retooling for the new design and would screw up their long term EV plans but still. I wonder if it could have been a more gradual change over if they did plan for it to have the new Nautilus first then switch over to EV later on. Of course, hindsight is 2020.
  15. Isn't there also a setting in the menu to turn the welcome lighting on and off? I could have sworn there was an option for this on my MKZ in the menu but I might be confused.
  16. I am surprised they are selling as many Crowns as they are.
  17. I really don't like Buick's new styling. Taking away the waterfall grill that Buick has been known for seems weird. The new styling looks very Asian and anonymous. Interior however does look good.
  18. Evem though I could care less for Toyota's lineup, I have started to appreciate the 4 Runner more and more. When I met my next door neighbor for the first time he had a 98 or 99 4 Runner that had well over 200k miles and he was using it has his daily while his Corvette was only used for fun. Sadly he lost it 2 years ago on a drive back from Orlando the engine gave out on him I think it was the timing chain. He replaced it with a CRV and kind of hates it but went with it cause it was cheap. He talks about how much he misses the 4 Runner all the time and how he wants another one to replace his CRV but they are just so expensive now especially used ones. I had a 4 Runner on a company trip a couple of years ago to Ft. Lauderdale so I stopped by my house before I left with it to load up all the gear I needed and had my neighbor check it out and he loved it. It drove like a truck and got lousy fuel economy even with a 4 cylinder but it had a charm to it for being a rock solid body on frame SUV. I bought my 04 Aviator AWD last year and my neighbor loves it too said it reminds him of his 4 Runner and I agree it drives pretty similar to the rental I had. I have been driving that daily while my MKZ is used rarely these days and I have been seeing a lot of 4 Runners on my commute.
  19. I thought it would have made sense to drop this feature on Fords but keep it on Lincolns as an option but I guess they are just going to drop it across the board all together. I know I will get the response of "IT COSTS MONEY TO MAKE IT DOESNT MAKE SENSE TO HAVE IT" but when you see cars like Kias having features like that and a 90k Lincoln does not have it then it just doesn't seem right. IMO.
  20. Any reason as to why the Navigator had such a drop this past month? Are there production issues? Grand Wagoneer has passed it though that may have happened earlier not sure but either way Escalade is still on top and Grand Wagoneer is now 2nd place.
  21. My G/Fs father got one last year he was waiting forever for it was on preorder for a long time. He paid I want to say close to 72k for it, it's loaded to the gills. Bright blue, blue leather, 4 door, removable top, big chunky tires. He's trying to sell it now. He's a Ford guy through and through but he said he misses having a sporty sedan or coupe, he also said he really didn't think it through since they have an Explorer already they have no need for 2 SUVs. He has had multiple offers from dealers but all low balling him pretty hard. He has it listed I think on Autotrader now for about 52k and no bites only low balls. He said if he doesn't sell it soon he will just keep it. He doesn't hate it at all he just misses having something sporty.
  22. I guess I misread a while ago, but I thought the Nautilus Hybrid was supposed to be built in Oakville while the gas model was China but both versions are China 100%.
  23. It doesn't need to be a raw powerhouse pony car but something comfortable with effortless power a sort of Grand Touring Coupe would work for their current theme IMO.
  24. Maybe to look like solar panels?
