  1. Yeah I would wait for the Fiesta. Personally i think that the Fiesta is better looking then the current Focus. You might spend the extra thousand on the Fiesta but you could probably get that back at the pump since the fiesta get a little bit better fuel economy .
  2. What is the price tag of one of these puppies anyway? I always thought it was a rebadged prius with different rear sheet metal. But then again I haven't seen many to take a close look at either to look for differences.
  3. The Corolla? I don't think that was a very good idea on Toyotas part.
  4. Isn't the HS based on the Prius? If so, shouldnt it get the same MPG as the Prius? Look at the Ford Fusion, Mercury Milan and, the upcoming Lincoln MKZ hybrid. They all get the same MPG rating, 41city 36 highway.
  5. I know that this really doesn't surprise me since the concept of the Ecoboost is a real good idea. Ford has sold more then 10,000 EcoBoost equipped vehicles in North America. 11% of Flex sales are with EcoBoost. http://www.prnewswire.com/news-releases/survey-ford-ecoboost-satisfies-customers-92762599.html
  6. Isn't Ford having a BEV version of the transit Connect that is due out in the four quarter of this year or first quarter of next?
  7. Sorry, I should really read over my writing before I post. It will not happen again.
  8. Even though I really like the new Taurus I think that the Aussie Falcon would of excelled here. But/can/would Ford build a special Taurus with RWD for Police/Government duty only? But then again that can be a little pricey on Fords end then. Does any one know how much it would of cost for Ford to bring over the Aussie Falcon and how much it cost GM to bring over the Holden commodore? Now is the Caprice built here in the states or in the land down under?
  9. When I was interning at my local Police Station and the officer I was with asked me "If you could have any car in North America what would it be?" (Since he said North America I couldn't say the Aussie Falcon) I told him that I would take a 2010 Ford Taurus SHO. So I showed him it on his in car computer and he laughed at me.Later that day he pulled me over to bust my chops and told him the new Police cruiser was Taurus based. I will tell you this much, that looks really mean. Too bad it isn't RWD but that is still really cool. If I become a Police Officer you bet I would drive one. Just paint it red with a white stripe please.
  10. I totally agree with the Flex and the 300. The rest really shouldn't be on that list.
  11. I thought it would be nice to hear/read something different, instead of the same old Toyota is garbage. So if anyone is wondering about Chrysler then here ya go. Even though I'm not a Mopar fan it is still really sad that they are struggling to sell their cars. http://msn.fool.com/investing/general/2010/04/19/will-chrysler-really-be-profitable.aspx?logvisit=y&source=eedmsnlnk0010001&published=2010-04-19
  12. That was a much needed laugh. Thank you.
  13. I will not lie but I felt a little embarrassed to walk out of the movie theater and jump in my red Mustang after that movie. Ok movie but they made that Ford look so stupid and ewwy. Flex was sexy though.
  14. Yeah I really hate the media they change their view to much. One day they bash the Big 3 (or is it the Big 1 1/2 ) and praise Asian imports then the next day they turn on the Asian imports and side with the Big 3. I just don't understand.
  15. It is going to be very interesting to see what happens. Ill be watching this very carefully.
  16. Ya beat me to the post ANTAUS. So does this mean it is closer to being mustang bound since the F150 application is RWD like the mustang? That 34' Ford Coupe that they built with the 3.5EB was probably all the R&D for the RWD application. Just think it was under most peoples noses. Since it is going to the F150 does this also include the Panel Vans (E150 and what not)?
  17. Ok so with the search of a Fusion going stale Ive been trying to gather information on my beloved Torino. But I just can't seem to find information that I really need like an options list, color patterns, and some suspension and drive train info. I also can't seem to find restoration parts for them. I have looked through Dearborn Classics catalog and website and they are missing some components and pieces I am looking for. I found a website called grantorinosport.org and I don't think I know how to use it. Any help would be great. Kyle
  18. Sign me up for a Torino and its Mercury sister please. Id like to see some front renderings of the Torino. And like everyone is saying you do great work.
  19. It is not surprising at all. "Before the accident, I thought that was the nicest car I ever owned. Now I think Toyota's interest is only in the bottom line, period, and they don't care about safety," Elmes said in a telephone interview. "I wouldn't take another Toyota if they gave it to me." A new member to the team. I like it.
  20. Not to worried since Ford had that 34 coupe with a rear wheel drive 3.5 EcoBoost with 400HP and 400TQ with a simple tune. http://www.autoblog.com/2009/11/03/ford-ecoboost-34-hot-rod-sema-2009/
  21. Yeah that is what I did, I bought a new fiberglass hood. Nothing too out there or ricer but just a nice 2inch cowl. Something that looks good and is sleek.
  22. April Fools right............. right..........right. "I hate to break this to you but WE HAVE A tendency for MECHANICAL failure in accelerator pedals of a certain manufacturer on certain models," Miller's e-mail began with several words in capital letters. Yeah how can you tell? Koganei wrote Mike Michels, vice president of external communications, "Now I talked with you on the phone, we should not mention about the mechanical failures of acc. pedal because we have not clarified the real cause of the sticking acc pedal formally, and the remedy for the matter has not been confirmed." Then why continue to lie and say through your commercials and to congress that you have? Koganei further wrote that Toyota executives were concerned that news of the mechanical failures "might raise another uneasiness of customers." Gee ya think? I'd be uneasy if my Ford was a death trap too.
