  1. Ford just trademarked the F200 name. Someone knows why.
  2. Doesn't look like the Ranger will get any wider. Been hoping for more elbow room as my 21/F150 spoils me for space. A 2.7 is needed as well.
  3. Someone please send this to dealers. Try finding one on a lot. Almost impossible
  4. Article totally lacking in factual information.
  5. My current wheels says 7500, which worried me at first but after 210,000 miles, with virtually no oil consumption between changes, I'm good with that. You might want to do a test and put your mind at rest. http://www.blackstone-labs.com/is a place whose work is independent. Their reports are honest and practical.
  6. If I do a factory order for a Focus (on fence between Focus and Fusion hybrid) how long will it take to come in?
  7. Wonder if they built them that way for England and RHD markets. Imaging adding a steering wheel and stick shift!
  8. The 4.4v8 diesel is $5k cheaper than the V8 supercharged gas engine in the UK. V8 diesel, I doubt it. V6 diesel I can see that. here are the specs from Jag website for the V6 Ford diesels. 3.0 LITRE V6 DIESEL-Available with the new ZF eight-speed automatic transmission and features a parallel sequential turbo-boosting system that provides immediate response, even at low engine speeds, and impressive fuel economy. - Power: 240PS - Torque: 500Nm - Acceleration: 0-60mph in 6.7 seconds (7.1 seconds) - Fuel consumption (combined cycle): up to 44.8 mpg (6.3 litres/100km) - CO2 emissions: 169g/km 3.0 LITRE V6 DIESEL S The high power Diesel S has been developed to deliver an even more involving driving experience. - Power: 275PS - Torque: 600Nm - Acceleration: 0-60mph in 5.9 seconds (6.4 seconds) - Fuel consumption (combined cycle): up to 44.8 mpg (6.3 litres/100km) - CO2 emissions: 169g/km
  9. I follow several forums with different brands, and this is the first time I've heard of a AC problem like this. Has the dealer confirmed that the ac is properly charged? Over and under charging AC systems can cause them to do weird things. In addition to the earlier suggestions, I would suspect a defective compressor clutch. Let us know how you do.
  10. I just like this alot. How long until the Kids go to college taking the family SUV with them?
  11. Hate to say it but I think you are doomed to buy the whole thing....
  12. Yikes the Mazda connection appears to be alive and well (except for the engines) http://www.autoblog.com/2011/09/02/2013-mazda-cx-5-quick-spin-road-test/
  13. Very little out there Is this how it looks? (scroll down on Right side of page http://www.markviii.org/LOD2/airsuspension2.htm
  14. Ok so the Navivgator gets the Ecoboost....... http://www.leftlanenews.com/2012-lincoln-navigator-to-gain-3-5l-ecoboost-v6-styling-refresh.html
  15. That makes a ton of sense. Only so many resources to spread around.
  16. As good a value as the Expedition is, I'm shocked that Ford doesn't drop the 3.5 Ecoboost into it. Its puzzling that Ford and Chevy go at it for payload and mpg on pick up trucks but not a word about mpg on Expeditions/Tahoes/Suburbans...
  17. There are plenty of CNG stations in the area where I live (eastern mass) but just try buying a CNG fueled or bi fuel vehicle. Its incredibly hard. I haven't looked at the TC yet or the CNG pre option. Do you get everything except the bottles and refueling port? Is it VCNG only or bifuel?
  18. The vast majority neither car nor know what BOF is or unibody is. Heck a survey of BMW 1 owners revealed that they knew their car was FWD. Its RWD. Sure Land Rover purists belittled firstly the Range Rover, then the Discovery as not real Land Rovers. So I'm seeing the same adverse resistance to progress arguments here as have been seen elsewhere. Our PD has 4 CVs, one Explorer and one new Taurus (small town). The Taurus isn't marked but has become the favorite car on my town's force. We'll be getting more, including AWD versions.
  19. I would have thought that we'd be seeing US spec Ranger replacements in spy photos by now if there was going to be a replacement.
  20. The Escape was (?is) sold in the UK as the Maverick. It had different tail light treatment plus rear fog lights to conform to EEC requirements. Try googling the pn as well. Sometimes you get good answers!
  21. Some unexpected almost totally naked pics of the 2011 Explorer. http://www.leftlanenews.com/ford-explorer-2011.html
