    Chicago Stamping Plant layoff coming in August for a minimum of 18 months. All Escape work leaving plant.

    The Ranger was going to stop production in 2007. You should be happy you got to work as long as you did. You were a LTS, you were not a full time employee. You have nothing to complain about.

    What makes you think CSP has a strong local?? They don't. It's just like all the rest. Plant on AWS. Trades get 48hrs one week, and 36 the next. Work every other weekend for straight time. 12 hour days. You will not make 150K a year. All the trades hate the schedule.

They hired off the street because they did not get enough volunteers. The 3 crew AWS sucks!!! Our union sold us out. It seems that we at CSP and CAP were the only ones smart enough to vote no on this bullshit contract.
