  1. I want to go on 5-8's. They said they want all assembly plants on that shift by 2012. It makes sense plus if they need overtime everybody can get it not just 2 shifts.

  3. The one person said it perfectly their main goal was for 2nd tier workers. They really didn't do much for the exiesting members. Most people I talk to aren't happy w/ it either.

  7. Also From what I'm hearing Ford wants all Ford employees out and back in a Ford plant. But we all know how the rumors are it's worse than high school… :o

  9. 2011camaro you sound lame & lazy as hell!! If you claimed to have gone to medical only once and was put on a 30 day restriction then you obviously made yourself well know down there. That just DOES NOT HAPPEN!!! I know from personal experience and a ligit reason. People like you work harder trying not to work then doing te damn job. And you also said you where Chucky in one post & the next you were referring to yourself in 3rd person. If you don't work for Ford and you argue w/ everyone why keep coming on here?
  10. Instead of taking care of a problem in house the whole world knows now. And you really think that was the smartest thing to do? We already have the whole world knowing how much we make what kinda bonuses we get. And now let's go to the news when we could've handled it a different way. So the whole world is going to assume most UAW members behave in that matter when that's the furtherest from the truth.
  11. If u ever felt like ur in a dangerous situation u don't go to the news u go to your union 1st. Whoever told in these people are making the rest of us look horrible.
  12. Yes the company breaks all the rules when it will benefit them. That happens on a regular basis and yes 80% of the teamleaders are dome of the laziest employees the company has. It's sad really cuz most days they have it really good. But I haven't heard of anybody getting wrongfully terminated. So I don't know where that's coming from. And it is also very true that the union backs the laziest most worthless employees in our work force and let's the people who come in everyday and actually suffer. There's people in there that work harder trying not to work then if u actually just did the job. U have a choice to work there if u don't want to that's fine cuz there's plenty of people out there willing to do it for 1/2 of what we make.
  13. As long as u come in and work DTP isn't all that bad. I'm mean all plants suck in their own ways. And if you are on a temp assignment why would you think you are going stay at that plant? You knew going in that at some point you'd be going somewhere else. And again ford wants outta thee parts business why would they want to pay people 30 bucks an hour when 100's of not 1000's would jump at the chance to work for 14 an hour @ a parts plant? IMHO that's where the lower tier people should go assembly isn't worth 14 an hour.
  14. What the hell are u talking about theres plenty of people with '04 senority on B crew at least there was. Especially in chassis.
  15. The bump isn't going yo affect either way. Buy like u said sign up was 2 months ago. And it's not our brothers & sisters fault the company hadn't moved them. This is going to turn some peoples lives upside down so we should have no respect for them? When u come to a plant from another one you get put where you are needed. So what ur telling me is that when we get new people which we do all the time they should get to pick what shift they go on? It has NEVER happened in the past.
  16. Regardless of senority they came in after the bump so they should go to what's available! How many different people came to DTP after the bump w/ enough time to hold A or B crew but got put on C? A lot so why is it any different w/ these people? Most a lot them worked 2-3 weeks and been on restriction since then. So we should give th special treatment? When we got over there they put us on whatever shift we were needed and we stayed til bump.

  18. DTP isn't all that bad. Just as long as you work (& actually try to do the job you are put on) you should be fine. As far as the climate control that's crap it only feels good if ur on certain jobs by the blowers. I'd rather have fans it makes a world of difference at least u havea breeze. A lot of people buy personal fans and bring them in. If you know your rights and aren't a lazy Fu@k. You should be fine. Cuz management will try to get over on you.

  20. Now that is one stupid statement. You would be foolish to vote in someone that can't, or won't do the job. regardless of senority. You have idiots at all senority levels. You may want to consider a persons knowledge, experience, and determination when making the decision as to who to vote into office. I 100% agree w/ you.
  21. People from Saline are being forced back or just forced here. And possibly from other plants.
