I was just informed by a friend at FRAP that job 1 for 2018 Continental is being delayed 4-6 weeks. A lot of units in need of repair right now, them being on one shift right now is slowing that process down.

well just reading some tea leaves here but I think it CAN be ready by 2019. I know for fact that the CD6 Aviator is a 2020 model, and It's widely assumed the Explorer comes out first, which would make it a 2019 model which means that if Fusion is indeed getting the CD6 platform, it can be ready for 2019.

Ask FCA, they apparently still had 14 Avengers lying around in July.

Fortunately we only have one right now so if we were to wind up with an Escape we could keep making it work with the car seat in the middle, as irritating as it is. Once we have another and we need to fit 2 back there we will definitely have a Fusion. Plus by then the Ranger will be out and hopefully the double cab version is big enough for it.

Our Focus is TERRIBLE for the car seat. I was hoping the Escape would be a least improved but it's not.

1. Current model has been on sale since 2012 (MY2013), new one I would hope gets here by 2019. 2. They're not GM so no.
