Two things: Every plant has its own launch team. They were trying to consolidate them and make them more "regional" (meaning one group would cover 3-4 plants) but I think they've rethought that idea since there's so many new products coming in the next 3-4 years. Ford is addressing their aging trades team. They just launched a new apprentice program last spring so there's fresh blood on the waitlists (god I can't wait....). Some plants are taking people as they go onto the list.

No. I had an incident at a shop with my focus once. Some kid who didn't know how to drive a stick popped the clutch (he said it jumped when he turned the key. Bullshit) with it in gear and hit another customer's car. The shop's insurance covered both cars and I got to drive a sweet f-150 for a week which they also paid for* I'll never go to Belle Tire again. That's the third vehicle in my family they wrecked or had a hand in wrecking by their negligence. They also owe me money still over the aforementioned f-150 that wasn't supposed to cost me anything.

I'm putting inquiries out as we speak. Those articles seemed too much like BS to me.

Almost everything I've said about the Bronco has been speculation except for the exploring a 2 and 4 door version, going after the Wrangler and using the 73 as inspiration for the design. Granted they've been very educated guesses using information I'm not at liberty to discuss publicly to protect my sources.

I know I sound like a broken record here, but I'll believe it when it happens. It's only gotten worse in the 4 years I've been here.

There was only 1 I was glad to see go. The rest I don't know a damn thing about. The most recent one I wouldn't have know he was moved on until I saw the announcement on the marquee. This plant has had a communication problem that's been going on forever. People that I talk to that came from next door (Old Wayne Assembly) say that plant was way better. Same with Wixom.

I think I had the same response then too. As slow as Ford's decision making has been in recent years, it's been even slower at MAP, partly because they keep firing plant managers.

total guess here, but I think the overall plan is for the Bronco to replace the Everest globally, with production coming from MAP and much as capacity will allow it.
