  1. The people that have them, love them They're a tough sell because they A. Look bland as all hell B. There's really nothing it has that distinguishes it from the rest of the segment.
  2. Don't hold your breath. It looks like they changed absolutely nothing but in reality they probably changed just enough for that to not work.
  3. The buy what's cheapest crowd usually goes with RAM since they consistently have the largest incentives.
  4. Last year before the end of C-Crew, we were building a small number of C-Max PHEVs for export to The Netherlands. I can't recall what the final number wound up being.
  5. They did but a higher capacity in the Focus Electric for 2017, so I don't know what the excuse is for the C-Max.
  6. That's because it's been well established that Ford is unwilling to grease enough palms to "earn" them.
  7. Still have no idea what's different. 3 Model years? Oy vey!
  8. Someone in the employee section was saying wire trees were a problem too
  9. NoOne Ford is meant to eliminate redundancy in the marketplace and simplify the supply chain, and streamline engineering. It's why Ford NA engineered the RHD Mustang, not FOE or Ford AUS.
  10. I don't think being RHD has so much do do with it as Euro regs do
  11. Which is another priority for the down week. They will do the same thing over the 10 day Christmas/New Year shutdown and work on repairs for the exports and now Lincolns.
  12. Unless FRAP gets a third vehicle (rumor is they will in 2019), Ford isn't pulling any production out of there at all.
  13. sounds more like a baiting question to me....
  14. None of us have been told a damn thing other than May of 2018 is the end of the Focus and Ranger is happening soon after that, followed by the Bronco.
  15. That's kinda what I was thinking. That's one of those what I call "nice touch" features. As of today, yes that's true, but I'm fairly certain that they are putting it in more of the lineup come MY2018.
  16. What would stop them from being able to light the logo when its in park, then have it disabled while in motion? Other than the Camaro ZL1, GM doesn't have the 10 speed in anything else yet. Ford will have their version of the 10 speed across more of their lineup by MY2018 than GM will. As to the 9 speed, I'm not entirely sure what the delay is on Ford's end. Perhaps it just simply isn't ready yet. As much trouble as Ford has had with FWD transmissions over the last decade, it makes sense to wait a bit and make sure they get it right the first time.
  17. Focus did get a refresh for 2015 though, people forget that the IP was redesigned too on top of the front and rear facias, plus the 1.0EB added. It was mild, yes but still counts.
  18. I have to believe that's somewhat intended on Ford's part while they are reshuffling manufacturing.
  19. Yes, that is somewhat expected, it happens every year and is usually planned for on the company's end. The last 2 years have been a bit of an exception since the 2015 redesign though.
