I didn't want my dues raised but iuaw didn't care I didn't want r strike fund pilfered iuaw didn't care I didn't want nafta/tpp/obamacare iuaw threw all there/r $$$ at the guys that passed these things, who is it I tell that will listen??? No I will not b signing off my membership & yes I know ford wants what's best for ford & not us & yes I know I'm better off with a union than w/o but smh something needs to change maybe the no compete clause so other unions can give the autos a whirl

Come to Sterling trades on low end pullin in 120k with some as hi as 200k most average 150k unlimited ot & r local keeps out the contractors we have a fab shop that does all the work to keep it in house

Yes Union is better than signing off with rtw most definitely but being a beck objector just means ur paying for collective bargaining & that's it no Vegas trips no black lake no political bs no trying to organize southern boys that want nothing to do with us just bargain a good contract for us & hell that's all we outta b paying for anyhow

It was simple retaliation by r local against the beck objectors.... It was just a f'n turkey but dam did r union leadership ever feel like tuff guys when they refused the Christmas gift turkey

At Sterling beck rights guys also didnt get the turkey that was handed out by the union but paid for by ford even tho the memo said everyone gets 1 mps/supers/foremans/area managers everyone got 1 except the beck objectors it was r locals way of saying pay all ur dues or else

We're not giving up anything this contract we need to gain some of if not all of what we previously gave up

As far as under attack by republicans I think u can just flat out say politicians cuz the dems ain't r friends either pal, Clinton/nafta Obama/tpp & obamacare all dems & all not good stuff thrown r way & im aint sayin repubs r the good guys there all evil out for there own good which mosta the time is not good for us

No definitely everyone's scenario is different but once u get into the 35/40/45yr zones ur trading time for $ when ur time is numbered so head for the hills enjoy the grandkids travel a lil & chill

U need the 85pts more so than 30yrs correct? I mean if ur in at 17-24yrs of age u gotta hit the 85 combined pts not just the 30yrs for the full pension/bennys retirement package I believe. If u do go before 62 & u get penalized on ss ford makes up the difference so ur not losing anything, but by no means am I saying everyone should run for the hills at 55yrs old to each there own as far as how long peeps wanna or don't wanna work

The guys/gals on trades at Sterling/vd r names of union officials past/present not sure bout other plants but these 2 r nepotism to the extreme it's all about who ur related to or who u know for the most part just taking the test at these facilities gets u sitting in the chair for a 150k + a yr & if u don't know the rt peeps ur waiting for 10+ yrs like nmsford & many others

We just a # that is all its really pretty simple all tier 1s have been thru layoffs & union treated us same way they just want there dues & ford just wants as much PROFIT as possible
