  2. It’s a good time to be a midsized truck fan. I think GM knocked it out of the park with both the Colorado and the Canyon. Per the article, it should start around 40k and the top of the line AT4X Edition 1 will be around 63k.

  4. Of course not everyone has to like it, but white accents are probably one of the more polarizing things to add to a vehicle. This is truly catering to a very small subset of bronco fans. I don’t think your average consumer would think this looks good and want to buy it. Most appearance packages that ford offers on vehicles have a much broader appeal in my opinion.
  5. Sure, white was a big part of the old broncos, but what looked good then doesn’t necessarily translate to today. Part of the reason it looked better back then was because it was up against chrome accents. Now everything is black plastic. Half the vehicle being black plastic and the other half being white plastic looks a bit silly to me. There’s a lot of things in this package that are appealing. The squared off fenders are almost universally liked. Everyone liked the interior from the concept bronco, and this brings some of those elements over. I prefer the FORD grille to the BRONCO grille as well. Not having this package limited to white accents would have given it a much larger audience. And let’s face it, the heritage name doesn’t mean much. There isn’t even an old bronco sport to have a heritage edition of, and the heritage f150 doesn’t really look like any of the old trucks.
  6. Limited looks ok. The interior of the limited is the best part. Really liking the dash and the leather seats. The fabric chosen for the cloth seats is questionable. I’m not a fan of the white accents. IMO it just doesn’t fit with the new design. It looks downright terrible on the sport. It would have been right up my alley if it was black like in the spy pics. has the design for the modular top changed? Here’s a pic from one of the early concepts Vs the roof on the heritage. The heritage roof looks like it’s the MIC top design.
  7. I’m in the “these names make no sense” camp. Base for any trim sounds horrible. Giving it some other name would at least make it not sound like bottom of the barrel (I hate this name on other vehicles too). Maybe they do that on purpose to push people away from that trim? Active makes it sound like it does something special, but it doesn’t. ST line would make more sense if there was an actual ST trim too. It’s all just putting lipstick on a pig if you ask me.
  8. https://fordauthority.com/2022/08/2023-ford-bronco-sport-gains-all-new-black-diamond-off-road-package/ According to this article, a black diamond off road package will be available on the bronco sport and will be available on big bend and outer banks trims. Either the article is wrong or ford is making some strange decisions. Why make a package named after a trim on another vehicle. Ford Bronco Sport Outer Banks Black Diamond is a hell of a name to rattle off. This will just lead to more confusion lol.
  9. ZR2 looks good. The front looks a bit like a 4Runner on that trim. Current ZR2 is around $45k. Is it a competitor with the ranger raptor or would it be a step down? Weren’t we expecting the raptor to be around $50k?
  10. I think the vents are in the same place, but the screen is now lower. What used to be above the vents was the radio controls. Since we know there are capacitive buttons for AC at the bottom of the screen, I’m guessing that the new radio buttons will take the place of the existing ac controls.
  11. And just like that, the interior gets leaked too https://fordauthority.com/2022/07/2023-ford-escape-interior-spied-shows-off-larger-center-touchscreen/
  12. This doesn’t look much better then the current escape. Comparing this to the ST Line we saw earlier, the body colored side molding and the extra led elements in the headlights really make a difference. with these two additions Ford will now have six trims (S, SE, SEL, ST Line, Active, Titanium) plus their hybrid/plugin alternatives for the escape. Seems a bit excessive to me for a vehicle that hasn’t been doing well.

  15. Another website suggests this will be priced between wildtrak and Everglades. That’s gonna push it too high for lots of people. In my opinion, the heritage trim should be one of the more affordable. Here’s the heritage edition I would make: - start with an outer banks - add ford grille like in the pictures - add squared fenders - add black diamond tire sizes with upgrade wheels and option for sasquatch - the cloth seats from the outerbanks would be standard (the stitching seems the closest to the original bronco) but in different colors then what’s available now. Leather with same stitching optional. The non-Sasquatch version would be priced between outerbanks and badlands.
  16. I was hoping for something more. F150 tremor gets a completely different grille which sets it apart more. The only difference on this grille appears to be the added orange. The grille and rear bumper are the weak spots on the Maverick. I was hoping upgraded packages would fix these but I guess not. My OCD also hates the single orange painted pocket on the wheels. Besides that, it seems like an OK package. I think the timberline name fits it better though.

  18. Interior is really nice, but that exterior is a bit strange. Especially the vent area behind the front wheels
  19. I loved my 2013 fusion. The interior and exterior both looked great. I had the smaller 4 cyl but it still felt plenty powerful. Unfortunately it just had too many problems, the biggest being the transmission going out at 70k miles. It’s the reason I buy the extended warranty on all my new cars now lol.
  20. https://www.motor1.com/news/596893/ford-escape-spied-st-line-badge/ Some more pics. These include a glimpse of the interior. Looks to be at least a 10” screen.
  21. I like it. It has a more premium and aggressive look than the ranger (except for the raptor). I like the interior better than the ranger too, especially the switch gear below the screen, however the rangers knobs should be more useful. Ranger also has better cup holder placement. This should do well for VW. If it were sold in the USA, I’d probably pick it over any ranger trim that’s not a tremor or raptor.
  22. Per ford authority, this is an st line model. https://fordauthority.com/2022/07/2023-ford-escape-st-line-set-to-join-refreshed-crossover-lineup/
  23. I don’t mind the Hyundai’s of the world trying new things. At least they are putting effort into the design unlike this.
