  1. Since there are 2 versions of the f150 raptor, I wonder if there will be 2 versions of the ranger raptor? This would help them meet different price points. Maybe the upgraded version has 35’s?
  2. Never thought I’d say this, but I actually like the hatchback version better.
  3. If it was 2 or 3 weeks, I’d be fine doing a special order, but I’m not waiting the months it takes now, especially since I’ll be losing value on my trade in the longer I wait.
  4. Sounds like this is good for everyone but the customer. I’ve bought a lot of vehicles, and not once has the dealer had the vehicle in the exact configuration I wanted in their dealer stock. They’ve always had to trade with another dealer to get it. If all the dealers in my region have the same stock vehicles, then it seems like I’m outta luck.
  5. i like the colors, but they don’t seem to fit on a vehicle called “splash”
  6. I agree. Each side would likely have to connect to the floor of the bed as well to prevent it from being wobbly, especially the side with the swing out tailgate. It would need to be secured to handle the forces of the gate swinging open.
  7. Ranger XLT FX4 - $38,130 XLT Tremor - $42,795 Lariat Tremor - $47,170 Tacoma TRD Off Road - $39,410 TRD Pro - $49,855 Colorado ZR2 $45,740 I agreed with you until I looked at the prices of each model. There’s a big gap in price between the xlt tremor and the pro. The Lariat Tremor comes a bit closer, and honestly I haven’t compared specs to see which one the Pro is more similar too. I was guessing the raptor would start around $50k.
  8. Seems overly complex when they could use something similar to the ridgeline. Dodge went this route with their split tailgate as well. I wonder if there is something about the ridgeline tailgate design that makes it not work on full-size trucks?
  9. Haha yep there it is. I read the first quote thinking it was a summary of the second. That’s what I get for being lazy.
  10. More capacity/range and faster charging times seems like a no brainer for an EV. I wonder why they decided to go with a hybrid here? Seems like they aren’t taking full advantage of the benefits of the battery.
  11. Really liking how this looks. Has a nice stance to it. Does anyone know if those are 33’s or 35’s? They look like 33’s to me but it’s hard to tell. Those tailpipes tucked in the bumper are pretty cool.

It has some bed rails and the thing behind the cab like the ROW wildtrak ranger has.
  13. Maybe it’s the Equator? The blue one is the equator sport and the other is the regular
  14. Actually it’s the Bronco Mustang. Ford figured they can bring in twice the sales if they name it after two icons!
  15. This has an odd shape to me. The back looks strange, but it’s similar to other EVs. With the shorter front, it doesn’t look as good as a traditionally styled suv. Guess this new aerodynamic form factor will just take some getting used to. I think the Ioniq 5 looks better. Its angular design helps hide the jellybean look that so many of these EVs suffer from.
  16. I agree, this thing doesn’t look like a Silverado. Avalanche would have been a good name. the current Silverado looks pretty good now that they have fixed the interior. I’m not sure why Chevrolet thought they needed to deviate so much from it. Maybe they are trying to recoup the costs of the hummer? I see the lightning vs Silverado ev playing out similar to the Maverick Vs Santa Cruz.
  17. Is it just the angle of the pic or is Chrysler going with the cab-forward design again? Not sure I’d I like that, however that interior is nice.
  18. Gotta say this is pretty ugly. Looks like the hummer, Hyundai Santa Cruz and Hyundai Kona electric had a baby. Reminds me of what an electric truck would look like if it was designed in 2000. I hate that slanted area on the back of the cab. Then how the top of the bed gradually gets lower looks dumb. From far away, it will be hard to tell what’s the front and what’s the back. I do like the interior though, especially that white one in the video posted above, but I’m not sure I’d want white in a truck. The mid gate seems cool, but I’d probably never use it. Unless you have kayaks like in the video or regularly get plywood, I can’t imagine it being very useful. I think I’d rather have rivians storage compartment over the mid gate. I’d rank the EV trucks like this: Rivian R1T Ford Lightning Alpha Motors Wolf Nikola Badger Tesla Cyber Truck GMC Hummer Chevrolet Silverado EV
  19. Are you set on the sport? You could probably get an escape, explorer or a new edge and not have to worry about any additional mark ups. Might even look at the explorer timberline, although since that trim is new, it might be selling for a premium.
  20. A vehicle of this type doesn’t need that equity. Bronco is one of ford’s icons. The top level trim of ford’s most exciting product in years is going to sell regardless of its name. I personally don’t care what they call it. I like both names, but I think ford took the easy way out here instead of trying something new that could have been really cool.
  21. How can it be a Sasquatch package? It already comes with 37” tires doesn’t? I think ford just chickened out on a new name. At one time, no one knew the raptor name either, yet even when it was brand new, ford was selling all the raptors it could build.
  22. I’m actually really liking the electric Tacoma. Get rid of the plastic in the grille and I’m guessing this is what the next Tacoma will look like.
  23. New pics of the Everglades trim. I’m really liking these new wheels and squared off wheel arches. Hopefully something like this is available without the snorkel. https://fordauthority.com/2021/12/2022-ford-bronco-everglades-teaser-pics-reveal-new-wheels-snorkel/
  24. From this angle the new one looks a bit like the new frontier. You can really see that squared up front end.
