  1. This along with your statement about the sport being a transitional vehicle and being filled by something else down the road have me curious about ford’s future in the compact segment.
  2. Yeah, I have 17 ford dealerships within an hour drive of me. Surely one of them would want my business lol
  3. I’m sure there are plenty of places that are selling at msrp. Just check around and change the reservation.
  4. Is that IP standard now or is it a part of the appearance package? That’s the same one the bronco sport has standard. My explorer xlt has it as well and it’s nice. The non digital IP was super cheap looking on the current escape so that fixes one of its issues. A step in the right direction. I also like both of the new wheels.
  5. I actually like that. It looks like a mach e and a blazer combined.
  6. The exterior looks great, like a mix of Tacoma and Colorado, but man, how could they miss the mark so badly on the interior? That looks older than the current frontiers interior
  7. “Extremely compromised” is a bit exaggerated don’t you think? For the longest time, almost all manufacturers have only had one vehicle in each segment and they aren’t compromised. I actually see it as the opposite. Having two vehicles makes them compromised. The escape has all the interior features I’d like to have, but lacks the exterior style I like. The sport has the exterior style I like, but it forces me to buy 4wd which I don’t want or need and it’s missing a lot of the interior features, size, and engine options that the escape has. id think that an escape sized bronco sport with hybrid and plug-in options offered in both 2WD and 4wd with all the tech inside that the escape has would be quite the winner. The engine options would give better fuel economy and the 2WD would make it cheaper (all of jeeps competitors come in 2WD). I’d guess it would sell just as well if not better than the current two vehicle approach at a much lower cost to ford.
  8. “Only One Non-American Car Enters List Of 10 Most Unsold 2020 Inventory” https://www.motor1.com/news/485461/cars-most-unsold-2020-inventory/ escape tops the list
  9. I agree. Get rid of that weird color on the interior and slope the roofline, and make the back not so upright, and it will look pretty dang good.
  10. Wow what a letdown that was. Everyone was hoping for the heritage edition or warthog and they show a race car instead?
  11. Yep, and it probably won’t be eligible for A plan just like it’s big brother.
  12. It looks like there is about a 7k price difference between ranger and f150 comparable trims. F150 raptor supercrew starts at $56k, so maybe the ranger raptor will start at 49k. I think that puts it a few thousand higher than the lariat ranger with tremor package.
  13. Man that ranger looks good. Perfect stance to it. Any chance this thing goes for $45k or less?
  14. One of the things I really like about this bronco is all the red accents. The red outline on “BRONCO” in the grille looks cool and would look just as good on a black grille too. The interior has some nice red accents too.
  15. This is Buick’s best looking vehicle. Should do well for them.
  16. 2 Door Sasquatch with fastback top is about as cool as it gets IMO.
  17. The photo appears to be a production ready vehicle. There’s no way that ford could have moved that fast.
  18. Guard green will look good on the bronco. Hopefully in a few years it will get replaced with highland green.
  19. I’d like the thunderbird to be a corvette competitor.
  20. Maybe they will do what Ram does and continue with the “classic” mustang as ice and the new model as an ev.
  21. If the thunderbird was coming out again, I would definitely have to rethink my next vehicle purchase.
  22. I think I’d prefer a bronco truck over a bronco, just hope the back of the cab on the production version doesn’t have that angle like in the drawing.
  23. Ford authority is now questioning if this is the fusion. They think it could be some model that was for South America. https://fordauthority.com/2021/01/is-this-really-the-2023-ford-fusion-active-or-something-entirely-different/
  24. Think I’m leaning towards 2 dr outerbanks now. It seems to be the cheapest way to get Lux package. The painted fenders don’t look great with some colors but I think it will look fine in carbonized gray. Some aftermarket wheels on 33’s would look pretty good. Glad I’m not a reservation holder. I change my mind so much on what trim to get that I don’t think I’d be ready to put in an order ?
