  1. Pretty much all we drive is the BEV. Drive 95% in the local area. With both an ICE CUV and small BEV we usually pick the BEV and enjoy it. The older compact ICE has highway, tow and dirty hauling duties. I sold my late model Tacoma to buy my wife the BEV. We have been downsizing the fleet of cars and boats for a few years.
  2. This has been updated, your tax bill no longer matters. https://www.fool.com/the-ascent/taxes/articles/electric-vehicle-tax-credits-are-about-to-become-easier-to-get-in-2024/#:~:text=The U.S. Treasury Department has,to the purchase price of
  3. The things a company that owned that van would care about are total cost of operation and does the van do the job (fit the purpose).
  4. Quick search. Civic discontinued in Japan in 2020 and Accord to be discontinued in Japan in September 2022. Maybe Corolla discontinued in 2007. Camry looks to be still there. But that is all Google.
  5. I saw lots of them in the UK. Really like the size. The Mercedes looks like a Chrysler minivan. The Custom looks ready for business.
  6. I can remember as a teen working for a Pontiac Buick dealer. The dealer told me not to mention the cars stored and hidden across the street when the corporate fellow came around that day looking at the Floor Plan.

  8. Yeah Memphis is not my favorite. Getting to healthcare is the other concern.
  9. Stanton, Tennessee is what I found. Fifty or so miles to Memphis.
  10. Deep Water Horizon was the big one. I think that took years off my life mentally. Inshore shut down, bayous, inland waterways. That went well beyond wildlife, it brought down industries that needed to be helped by the Government. Still trying to resuscitate them. Plus all the well and pipe ruptures/leaks you don’t hear about that make the local news. That oily sheen folks just don’t know where it’s coming from. These things stack up. Edit: I’m hopeful for solid state batteries or anything to clean up the battery side of business. James
  11. The smell of raw oil, on the sea water, on the beach and at your home sticks with you.
