  1. That interior may just sway us into a Nautilus when we turn our Edge in next year. Weird center console be damned!
  2. What's the only thing more expensive than a new Mercedes? A used Mercedes! ? I'd still take the $100k GM.
  3. FCA has gone on record saying they know they can't have Hellcat everything for much longer and they are going to offer what people want (ie: Hellcat type vehicles) until they are unable to any longer. They ain't wrong. But they better be getting their next gen of fuel efficient (but powerful) vehicles ready while they enjoy these successes.
  4. If you want to see that name on a CUV, that's probably the only way it would happen. No more cars.
  5. For as long as they've been showing TRX concepts, you woulda thunk this would have been out as soon as the latest gen had arrived.
  6. Wow, that Jalopnik article is pure trash. Doesn't like the touchscreen because it can get dusty? Whatta friggin' marooooon. https://www.caranddriver.com/reviews/comparison-test/a34429175/2021-ram-1500-trx-vs-2020-ford-f-150-raptor-supercrew/ Car and Driver puts the TRX ahead of the current Raptor. (of course with a new one on the horizon, that could change very soon).
  7. I am content with the performance even though there's no dividend right now (but really would like to see it come back since the price has almost rebounded to pre-COVID levels). As noted earlier in the thread, I bought around a 100 shares (just enough to get x-plan back) when it dropped earlier this year. Unfortunately, I also bought in around 2 bucks higher than it eventually cratered to in the end, but still pretty happy with the strength it came back with.
  8. I see a bunch of the new generation here in Connecticut.
  9. I think "overland" is being used as the action this Bronco concept would be used for, not as a trim name...so no infringements. Just like Wranglers can drive through Big Bend and the Outer Banks, Broncos can go overlanding!
  10. Almost a carbon copy of the Accord...in fact I'm almost wondering if the Civic guys have it wrong and this really is an MCE Accord rendering.
  11. Announced: Manual being offered on Sasquatch package for Bronco.
  12. This IS "cool truck news". Just not "big truck news". ?
  13. Oddly enough, that's just the Lariat grille with some paint highlights. Odd they chose that over a unique grille for this package.
  14. Graphics package is an option. Note the red Tremor doesn't have it. I totally dig the graphics though, very retro 80's feel to it.
  15. Looks like size-wise, it will be close to the OG Ranger.
  16. I think you are correct about my measurements being off. If the wheels are 18", here is a Ranger superCrew Lariat imposed over it (rear wheels lined up perfectly, both vehicles assumed to have 18"...well those are definitely 18 inchers on the Ranger). I'd say the wheelbase of the Maverick is closer to around 114" and the bed is around 48". Eyeballing that. Hard to tell exactly where the cab ends and the bed starts on the Maverick though. Cab sizes seem to be similar though the Ranger has more height (and I'm sure a good amount in width as well). Wheelbase looks to be about a foot longer or so on the Ranger and the bed being about a foot longer as well (the way they line up above, the tailgate of the Ranger lines up with the bumper of the Maverick). This looks like it is going to be a tweener and the Ranger will need to grow a bit in size.
  17. Using this pic as a guide: Assuming the wheels are 17" (to use as a base length), the wheelbase is approximately 102.4" and the bed is approximately 44" (measured from back of door seam to black vertical stripe in camo (end of taillight). For comparison, the Ranger wheelbase is 126.8" and the short bed is 60" It is way smaller than it looks in pics. Look at the pic from the front and see how big the guy looks inside it.
  18. I know right? I bought mine in January of '19 and we are slowly creeping up on '21. Insane. (and because of this stupid pandemic, I only have 19k miles on it)
  19. I still can't believe I've had my '19 Ranger for the better part of 2 years. It still feels like I just got it.
  20. With the exception of the roof color (which may or may not be a production thing), the design is refreshingly simple compared to most over-styled vehicles these days. It seems to be a design meant to age well without any gimmicks to tie it to a certain era.
