Bigfoot to become a toyota tundra........

Not a good sign. I wonder if the numbers through the turnstiles have been dropping at the crusher truck events. Some cable sports channels have dumped the coverage as well...? Anyone know/remember who covered these folks? I don't watch often enough to know or remember.

I did follow the early BigFoot trucks, but that was a lifetime ago!

The last time I went to a monster truck show it was packed! So I dont think thats it. I just think ford might be it worst shape than we think.

I doubt that that is the problem. We basically know Fords exact position based on their financials. I doubt that ford gets many sales because a monster truck has a Ford badge.

I for one think that Ford saw that it wasn't doing much for their image and has decided to send their add dollars elsewhere. This may have something to do with Farley.

Monster Jam has really taken over the Monster truck shows, and Big Foot did not go with that group. More of a solo thing. Monster Jam which has all the hot wheels toys is sposnered by Ford. Probably a more bang for the buck. I have a 6 year old so we watch on tv (speed channell) all the time. Plus we have been twice in perosn. A really cool father son event, as mom has no interest.

I agree with that. Gas guzzling behemoths are perhaps not what Ford wants to associate itself with.

Although there are many fans who enjoy monster truck rallies, there are many more customers needed who prefer "green" thinking.

Maybe Ford will re-sponsor them in the future when they can afford to be a little more cavalier about their associations.

When is the last time you Bigfoot? I see Gravedigger stuff all over the place.

Bigfoot was always a poseur anyway. I grew up near Midwest and there were a lot of M-Trucks around back then and even then, it was well known Chandlers trucks were all show.

IMO it would be totally appropriate for Chandler to switch to Toyota.

Your a bunch of bo bo's did you even check the link? It was loaded full of Fords not one junk Toyota in sight! He must has been testing you all and everyone so far failed!

All the pics on the Link are Ford trucks, I did not see one Toyota!

Ever wonder why your credibility is lacking?

Sharpen your reading skills:

22 December 2007 - It is with great disappointed that we announce an ending to a long and successful relationship with Ford Motor Company. BIGFOOT has been with Ford for 23 great years. We have been a BIG part of keeping the Ford F-series truck the #1 selling trucks in America and Ford has helped make BIGFOOT the best know and loved Monster Truck in the world. As much as this saddens us we are also excited about our future opportunities.

Lowlights:

- End of our 23-year relationship with Ford Motor Company.

I doubt that BIGFOOT has been that big a part of keeping the F-Series #1. I don't doubt that Ford was a very big part of BIGFOOT's success. I don't think too many Monster Truck Fans will think much of a Toyota BIGFOOT.

No, because they officially sponsor the Blue Thunder truck and Ford is the most visible sponsor for the Monster Jam series.

This was just about Bigfoot.

Besides, monster trucks are a positive because kids are in awe of them. Kids get attached to a truck, and then it fosters strong images.

Be thankful Grave Digger and Max D are not recognizable modern-day trucks or people might get swayed toward Chevy or... Dodge I guess.
