hbalek
I just saw this awesome ad during The Late, Late Show. Totally wasn't expecting it! Here it is on the Lincoln website: http://www.lincoln.com/extras/tvads.asp?ad=
danup
Now that is how you relaunch a brand. Here's hoping there are similarly excellent ads on the way for the refreshed MKZ and the MKX.

P71_CrownVic
I wonder if someone could sue them for false advertising? We shall see if anyone catches the mistake that I did. I do like the lighting in that room in the shape of the Lincoln symbole. Now if only the brand would take pride in the small details like that. P71_CrownVic
They're called SOUND EFFECTS! Sheesh... Why would you put in the sound effect of blower whine...when the car comes with a measley 270 N/A horsepower?
hbalek
Why would you put in the sound effect of blower whine...when the car comes with a measley 270 N/A horsepower? 273 hp on regular gas is nothing to sneeze at! In fact, name a car with more hp that runs on regular?

Hydro
"Why would you put in the sound effect of blower whine...when the car comes with a measley 270 N/A horsepower?" Soon enough that will be true, no false advertising. How's a little turbo spool with your morning coffee. P71_CrownVic
273 hp on regular gas is nothing to sneeze at! In fact, name a car with more hp that runs on regular? No, but the 2 HP you gain on premium is a complete joke. And 375 from a 4.6 V8 is exceptional...especially when it gets the same gas mileage as a 270HP V6. hbalek
Why would you put in the sound effect of blower whine...when the car comes with a measley 270 N/A horsepower? Also, take note, that every feature they point out has a "holllywood movie-like" sound effect. From the keypad, to the thunk of the door closing, the techno sounds from the nav system, to the engine sound are all exaggerated sound effects! Hence, DONE FOR EFFECT! And 375 from a 4.6 V8 is exceptional...especially when it gets the same gas mileage as a 270HP V6. The EPA release fuel economy specs for the Tau? Does the Tau run on premium? The 2 HP gained from premium goes to show you that a premium tune wasn't the primary intent of the engineers.

NickF1011
Why would you put in the sound effect of blower whine...when the car comes with a measley 270 N/A horsepower? Sounded more like they were emulating the sound of the turbine whine of a jet engine to me. I guess we'll see who tries to drive one off a cliff first and has their family sue because it didn't fly. Give it a rest P71. You are REALLY REALLY REALLY reaching on this one.
Catalepsy
...So I guess you thought all Saabs have heat shields that can withstand the afterburner of a jet?
